Dr. Alok Sachdeva, MD

I've seen him for over a year and he's never even touched my hands or examined me. He flies in the office and is filling out the invoice before I even say a word. I am a nurse practioner and feel he is unprofessional and uncaring

I have been going to Dr. Sachdeva for over 10 years. I did have to take a break due to an amputation and go to someone else in my town. As I got better and was able to drive I called his office and said could you please take me back. Yes he is fast at the appointment but he does the bloodwork which is going to show anything that may be an issue. He has always been friendly and had great manners and professional and I love his nurse Misty. A lot of people may think his manners are not great because he is very direct which is in the best interest of the patient.

After reading other reviews, I have to agree. I’ve been seeing Dr. Sachdeva for years. I got pregnant with my now 1 year old. I missed an appointment and went my entire pregnancy and the 1st year of my child’s life without seeing Dr. Sachdeva. Now I’m trying to play catch-up with all my docs. When I went to see Dr. Sachdeva he came into the exam room, ordered blood test, and walked out. He never even examined me. He didn’t look at my back, hands, feet, nothing!! I hadn’t seen him in 2 years and he didn’t even examine me!!

Had a very bad experience with Dr Sachdeva. I was diagnosed with lupus, along with Arthritis and several other problems. I went to him to have my FMLA filled out and I was told he did not do them. But when he came in he ask what was going on. I told him I was having to go on medical leave and this paperwork secured my job spot. He was rude about filling out the paper for me. As my hours ran out that I had at work I then had to apply for Short term Disability in order to receive 60% of my paycheck to keep my bills going. He did send my medical records but refused to fill out any paper work for Short term saying he did not put me out of work. One of the questions on FMLA was is the patient able to perform her job duties. His answer was no. So what am I suppose to do when he says I can not do my job. He also sent my hemotologist that does do Short term that he did not put me out of work so do not fill out her Short term paperwork. I have now gone for over w months with no paycheck of any… kind. Had to apply for food stamps. Had to get extensions for my utilities. The stress alone was awful and do not wish this on anyone. So if you think at anytime you will have to go on leave and do Short term disabilty you will not get any help or sympathy from this dr. I was even going to do a change of physician in the same office and got a call the next day saying you will not get a of physician. I thought doctors were here to help people. Not this one. I can not tell you the stress i have been through with the stress. I now have found a new dr and first question is do you do Short term paperwork.

Dr. Sachdeva is monitoring my rheumatoid arthritis condition. He is very professional, very thorough, easy to understand and talk to, and concerned for me. I see him every 9 months. I don't understand the comments about the office reception staff as they have been quiet and respectful when I've been there.

I had a confirmed appointment Dec 4th at 3:30, I traveled 2 hr's and missed a half day of work to get there and fine out someone had cancelled my appointment. I was told they would try and work me in with another provider, and they never returned to let me know anything. I ended up leaving. My perscriptions need renewed, which one is Humira that I cannot live without. Dr Sachdeva is not friendly and I've been thinking of changing Dr.'s, so this just confirmed it. Once I got to see his PA, she was amazing, if I could see her at least every other appointment it would be worth staying with Northeast GA Diagonstic Clinic. I've called twice this morning, once after being on hold for a while, the phone went dead. I've called again, asking for a manager, only to get voice mail. I'm praying someone will call me back, so I can get my perscriptions filled. I definately do not recommend Dr. Sachdeva.
