Run in a different direction. Altorelli is only interested in your wallet and it had better be a big one. Long time (some 27plus years) are turned away after seeing him for all their appointments because he is practicing "boutique" medicine. A disgrace to have loyal patients in their 80's dismissed unless they want to pay to have him on retainer. True colors are revealed. Stay far away if you care about decency and your health.

my family has been patients of Dr. Altorelli for approximately 30 years! I didn't make an appointment for a few years and was told I am now considered a "new patient" and can not go there unless I pay a yearly fee! What?????? Now I am forced to find a new doctor. I'm sad and disappointed. What happened to this practice?

Beware - Dr. Altorelli has become a "concierge" doctor. He is charging $3000 a year just to have him as your doctor. If you are a "new patient", you can not go here unless you pay a yearly fee. I am a long term patient of him, but was healthy so didn't make an appointment for 4 years. Now I can not go back unless I pay this outrageous fee. I've never been treated so poorly.

This Dr treats his patients based on how they pay him. Rich people in town love him because he gives them 99% of his attention. If you have Medicare, or some other insurance, expect to get 1% of his attention, if you are lucky.

I have been a patient of Dr. Altorelli for at least 30 years. He is the "best" in my book! He is motivated to spend time listening to the patient and taking the time needed to give a complete exam. He has the gift of making the patient feel comfortable and his skills at diagnosis are exceptional. Office staff is excellent and when health problems develop they will get you in to see the Doctor in very little time. I feel blessed to have enjoyed the skills of this fine Doctor and kind man for so many years!

This doctor's quick thinking, commitment and superior knowledge saved my life - literally. If you are after the best doc on the planet, he is the one to pick.

He too easily prescribes antibiotics to patients when they have no valid reason to get them.

I have found Dr Altorelli to be patient, caring, informed of current treatment modalities, intuitive, interested, and friendly. A great bedside manner..
