Dr. Alvaro S. Rios, MD, FACC, FASNC

Dr. Alvaro Rios is a cardiovascular disease specialist who earned his medical degree from Universidad Mariano Galvez De Guatemala, Facultad De Ciencias Medicas Y De La Salud. He completed his residency training at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, followed by specialized fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. With 37 years of experience in cardiology, Dr. Rios holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and has earned Fellow status with both the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC). He provides care in English.

Dr. Rios practices with Texas Health Huguley Cardiology and Vascular Associates of North Texas, serving patients in both Burleson and Fort Worth, and maintains hospital privileges at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle.
