FOR LACK OF HAVING SPECIALIST AVAILABLE TO HER I HAVE HAD TO GO TO SPOKANE FOR TREATMENT FOR HEART, LUNGS AND BACK I HAVE HAD WONDERFUL TREATMENT THERE AND ALL THE TIME I NEED TO DISCUSS MY ISSUES SHE SPENDS TO MUCH TIME ON UPDATING HER COMPUTER DURING YOUR 15 MIN. APPT. LEAVING ONLY MINUTES TO TRY TO DISCUSS YOUR AILMENTS AND OH YES THAT CAN BE ONLY ONE ISSUE . SORRY YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER APPT. OR I THINK YOUR PROBLEM IS , WITH OUT CHECKING AND SAYS IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING THAT PROBLEM WE WILL CHECK IT OUT AT YOUR NEXT ANNUAL. THAT IS ONLY 8 MONTHS AWAY DO NOT FEEL I HAVE COMPETENT HEALTH CARE

"Dr. Alyssa" is a rather nice way of putting it. She is lucky if I call her... Medical Assistant Alyssa. Ugghhh. What a serious piece of work! I mean, does she work for me, or do I work for her?? Am I getting paid, or is "Dr. Alyssa" getting paid?? She is totally incompetent. She lacks 100% leadership ability. She is a loser dwarf of a farter. Her farts stink-up the whole entire medical practice. I can smell her farts two traffic lights away, from where her office is located. Farts damage control is key here... while there is no cure for Dr. Alyssa Shaw's farts, there is one treatment option, which is highly recommended and it serves as doctor's orders for the doc herself. Alyssa S. Shahw, MD is horrible! Just awful. Occupational hazard?? Uh yeah, I think so...

I came to her with some very personal issues that were affecting myself and my family. She took time to help me out, provided me reassurance and arranged for close follow-up to monitor my progress. Very attentive and thorough.

Dr. Shaw is always professional and thorough. She answers all my questions and walks me through possibilities for what could be causing my symptoms. I always feel like I am part of the discussion in deciding on tests and next steps. She is excellent.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr.Shaw at family health for over ten years. The office has met and exceeded all our needs. From routine wellness to complex medical issues Dr. Shaw has been there for every need and every trouble. Tina at the desk is now like a family friend. We are fortunate to have such care.

I brought my mom to see Dr. Shaw 12 years ago. She did an exam and asked about the swelling in her legs. It had been there for years. Dr. Shaw looked at her medications and her diabetes. She ordered labs and advised changes in her prescriptions. Within 2 weeks my mom was a new person. She sees Dr. Shaw every 4 months and won't do anything unless Dr. Shaw advises it. I am seeing her now too, as is my wife. She is thorough and thoughtful. Her nurses are top notch and her front desk has been the same as at our first visit and greets us by name every time. Highly recommend this office!

I have been seeing Dr. Shaw for 10 years. I try to have everyone I know see her. When I am in the hospital for labs and procedures everyone there has nothing but good things to say about her and about what other patients have said about her. She is knowledgeable, professional, caring and has a a great office staff.

I am a nurse, I know what an exam should involve. I know that she does not examine me. She doesn't compare lab test from one year to another. Recommends treatments that have been tried and failed in the past.
