Dr. Amalia Violeta Gozum, MD

The visit with this lady, is the absolute WORST. She bad mouth people loved ones and tell us that we should allow our loved one to die and rest in peace. What kind of doctor says things like that?

It is interesting that the majority of the 5 star reviews are all the same person. I cannot give this doctor anything but a bad review. She has sent a very sick patient home because she took the word of a 89 year old sick lady's word that she had someone at home to care for her. Did not call to verify that this was true. So now we have to figure out to get 24 hour care at my mother's expense. If at all possible I would never use her.

Having suffered a major medical emergency recently while in Flight over the Pacific Ocean, I was resuscitated with oxygen, and atteneded to by Dr Amalia Gozum who happend to be traveling on the same flight. I thank God for her. She is such a dedicated, generous and knowlegeable Doctor. After a short conversation with her, she immediately diagnosed my heart and lung issues and problems, She oberved my list of meds that I was carrying, administerd the meds required to get my heart back in a normal rhythm gave me the oxgen needed to keep me alive. She continued to monitor my vitals for another 10 hours by holding onto my hand continually measuring my pulse rate and giving me hope. She then set me up for medical assistance upon deplaning. Thank God for this Doctor, forever Grateful to you Doctor Gozum, you have both saved my life when I was giving up and you have earned my utmost respect.

I really appreciate Dr Gozum approach and care given to my mother while she was at St Vincent’s Riverside. She clearly communicated her condition, the coarse of treatment and concerns. She followed through on everything. Thank you

One of the finest physician I have even dealt with. Shows compassion, attention and spends time at bedside. Highly recommended. Love her bedside manners.

Do not step foot near this practicioner. She charged in asked 2 questions in ER and made a diagnosis knowing nothing. Her bedside manner is arrogant and intrusive, she set up consults that were WAY off the mark. I told staff not to let her back in my room, they said not to worry they would not let her back in. End of story, run far away from this one.
