Dr. Ambaram Vashram Chauhan, MD

Dr. Ambaram V Chauhan is one of the best doctors in the area...he is professional, honest, takes his time with you the patient, suggests tests when he feels something is just not right and follows through on his diagnosis, treatment and recommendations. I hope he works till he is in his 90's because you can't find these types of doctors anymore...I started with Dr. Chauhan on the recommendation of another doctor who didn't accept my medical coverage...now my wife and son both go to him.

Do not go here unless you want the nurses conjecturing about your sexuality(in front of your spouse, no less), insulting you, mocking your ailments, mocking you for being on welfare(half the staff sits around whining about their jobs, the other half deriding the patients who are disabled or less fortunate). You WILL wait at least 20 minutes beyond your scheduled visit time, every time. There is a chance your nurse will just blow up, and make thinly veiled threats ("You're lucky I like my job.") The actual doctor staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, but that hardly makes up for the abusiveness and rudeness of the nursing staff.
