Dr. Amber Lee Hayes, MD

Dr. Hayes is excellent! She is caring, compassionate, willing to listen and takes into account the best plan of action for each individual patient. The downside is going through Renown central phone number to make appointments.

Dr Hayes is very caring and she takes the time to listen to my concerns before she decides on what course to take with my meds. She is very real and I trust her 100% to be honest with me and my children. My older girls have decided they no longer want a pedi and they both love her. After I fired my last doctor who accused me of seeking narcotics, she actually listened to my pain complaints and referred me to a surgeon. I'm now on the right track to get pain free. I highly recommend her. The only thing I don't like is the location of her office. Getting checked in takes an act of congress because she is located with a lab and an urgent care.

Dr. Hayes is a newer doctor to me; I have seen her for about 6 months. Not only is she easy to talk to and LISTENS, but she put me on medications to get my migraines back on track, which is something my neurologist couldn't even do. I feel extremely comfortable telling her my health concerns, and she spends however much time it takes to make me feel comfortable. I would reccommend her anyday!

My first appointment with this doctor was lost by the front desk. They made and confirmed the appointment with me and didn't put it in the doctor's book. After waiting about 40 minutes, I saw the nurse practicioner. I told them that my goal was to be a patient of a primary care physician and was told that I was now Dr. Hayes patient but that she couldn't see me that day. My next visit, I also saw the nurse who gave me a referral to a specialist. The doctor didn't stop by during that appointment, either. When I called last week and left a message that I was ill and needed to see the doctor, my call was unreturned and then, when I called today to follow up, I was instructed that I WAS NOT a patient of the doctor, that I was a patient of the nurse practicioner who had left the practive and I would need to wait now for the next new patient appointment in about a month. Bad news.
