Dr. Amer Husni Kashoqa, MD

Extremely poor patient service. Staff is nice and responsive, however Dr. Kashoqa will never respond in a timely manner and due to that fact the staff will give you the run around for weeks. Called during regular office ours as well as through answering service and it’s been a week and still no response from the doctor on medication refill. Thank God this is not life threatening. I would have been dead by now. Given that this is a psychiatrist working with patients that may have anxiety and depression you would think he would actually care about his patients. Find someone who cares about his patients. Definitely not this doctor.

I've been to many psychiatrists and found that the most time that they'd spend with you is 5 minutes. How are you? Here is the prescription. I was frustrated until I found Doctor Kashoga. He talks to you like a psychologist. He doesn't just prescribe. You can see his reviews here. The only problem is that he is so popular that you may have to wait months to get an appointment. If you can, I tell you, it's worth the wait!

I have been to several psychiatrists, and none of them were able to help me. All of them would not spend more than five minutes in the consult and they just kept giving me drugs. Doctor Kashoqa spends time listening to you, which is rare for a psychiatrist. He looks at a patient as a whole, not just as a chemically imbalanced brain. This is the reason you have to wait months for the first visit. In any case, it’s totally worth it!

Excellent very professional the staff his caring and courteous.

Dr. Kashoqa is a very kindhearted man. As for the wait time, I've never had a problem, but I've seen others waiting a while.

Dr. Kashoqa and his staff are very professional and very nice. He is a good doctor. He is always very helpful and works with his patients. The only thing I dont like about the office is scheduling. It takes at least a month to get an appointment, and when you get there he always seems to be running about an hour behind. I'm not sure if he's just over booked or what. Aside from that he's awesome!
