Dr. Amir Hessam Bahreman, MD

The time this doctor makes his patients wait past their appointment time is completely UNACCEPTABLE. This is a sign of disrespect. Who wants to see a doctor that disrespects you time after time?

Went to see this doctor and he was very unpleasant. He kept me waiting for over an hour. Then blamed it on me when I had been sitting in the waiting room. This is the 1st time and obviously the last time I will see him. He was rude and didn't seem to have a good grasp of what he was talking about. His bios say he has all the other subspecialities. Seems fake to me after spending 15 min with him and getting escorted to the door.

If you or your loved one are elderly, RUN from this doctor. My mother has a hard time getting rid of UTIs. This doctor refused to culture her urine....thankfully the facility she was at went ahead and did so only to find out she needed further treatment. He didn't want to biopsy a spot for her or up her dosage of antiacid. His attutude is when someone is old is to just let them die. It is disgusting. The nursing staff at the facility doesn't seem to have much respect for him either. His bedside manner is charming but don't let that fool you.

Thank you Dr Bahreman for helping me taking care of my father at the time when no one could help him. you gave my father years of quality life and i am truly thankful for all your help and expertise.

Dr. Amir Bahreman was my mother's primary physician at Jacobs Health Care in San Diego. During the past few years I've had to deal with many doctors treating my mom. Some were good and some were not so good. Dr. Bahreman stood high above the crowd. He is not only a true professional but a gentleman to boot. He is very attentive and caring and listens to your needs; above all, he respects the family's wishes and desires. Unfortunately, we had to move on to other facilities for my mother's care and no longer have him as my mom's physician, but I would switch back to him in a New York minute if I had the chance.

The doctor was inattentive, ordered an MRI and then didn't have the decency to follow-up on the radiologist report. I had to call the office and request that the doctor call my wife in lieu of an actual sit-down because the topic of MS was discussed as a possible diagnosis in her initial consult. The office manager could the be the most incompetent person I have ever met. To start off with, my wife's chart was "misplaced". The office manager delayed a scheduled MRI because she thought our insurance required preauthorization, which she was repeatedly informed was not the case (2 month delay on her part). Eventually, we were informed that my wife should find a different doctor because Dr. Bahreman doesn't "treat migraines". Sadly, my wife demonstrated other symptoms far more serious than chronic migraines that you would expect someone that specializes in the brain would be competent enough to help find a solution.

An A+ physician. He is polite and very bright! He sets the standard high in quality care and bedside manner.
