Dr. Amit Devinder Malhotra, MD

Though many patients may never see Dr. Amit Malhotra, as a radiologist he plays a vital role in their diagnosis. Dr. Malhotra spends much of his time in front of a computer reading everything from x-rays to MRIs. Once he reads the imaging study, he consults with the patient’s physician to aid in the final diagnosis.

“Our emphasis is on providing not just imaging, but a plan of care that is tailored to the patient," he says. "Imaging is a pivotal part of the care spectrum that is often the deciding factor as to how the patient will be treated. The true picture of the patient is made in collaboration with the radiologist, the physician and the entire team."

Dr. Malhotra has contributed research to numerous journal articles. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, rock climbing and sports including basketball and soccer.
