For over a year he treated my father, he knew nothing about his patient, non caring, never responded to phone calls, he knew how bad was my dad’s situation and still wanted to experiment new medications on him. I kept calling almost every day telling that my father is in a bad situation, he can’t move, his body is swollen and he kept telling to put him on lasix and wait for the results to come out to give him new medication. He was taken to the hospital and died few days after due to his whole body failure. My father passed away and we’re still waiting for the medication.

You can forget about anybody ever calling you back when you leave a message. I was placed on hold for a half hour and told there’s one patient ahead of me only to be hung up on because it was closing time. Unfortunately good caring staff that work for doctors are hard to find including here. Patient s are already vulnerable as it is, less than professional service is the last thing one needs especially when they are fighting death! Get the name of everyone you speak to especially when placed on hold do they csn be held accountable for their sub standard service.

Dr. Mazumder is a warm and caring physician. He was responsive to all my questions, didnt rush me and was reassuring. His nurse practioner is also wonderful. The staff at NYU is delightful. As his credentials and publications speak for themselves, he is a highly intellegent and well educated physician in his field. I had a very positive experience with him.
