Dr. Amy B. Siegel, MD

Asking her questions is like pulling teeth. Horrible to get information from. I ended up going to a different doc to follow up and things got confused because her notes were wrong. I do not recommend.

Most uncaring approach I’ve ever encountered on an initial, get-established visit. Seemingly so intimidated by sleep issues- rather than helping, only concerned that a patient has low dose controlled sleep drug history. Said bluntly “You’ll never get off those” instead of how may I help? No general questions like how are you? Cannot recommend this physician whatsoever.

Worst experience...bed side manner is a lost skill for this woman. I asked if anything could be done about my arthritic joints my index finger in particular was in a lot of pain her answer was and I quote don't get old who says that to a patient she never looked at my finger or my joints she never asked any questions I responded to her the alternative was dying and she answered that's correct. To say the least I was shocked and to think a doctor whose opinion I value recommended her is very disappointing.I discussed other issues with her she never looked at me what a waste of money and time her 3 minutes she spent with me maybe precious to her but the two hours I took off to drive to her office from Kyle and time off work is especially valuable to me I will never see her again and I would discourage anyone from ever seeing her!!

Dr. Siegel is not helpful and after my visit with this provider. I will not be going back to her. She made it pretty apparent that her patient’s are of no real importance to her. I did not feel that she took her time or gave me any real diagnosis and I am more sick than I was earlier and her biggest recommendation was to take some Aleve. Why am I going to the Dr and taking time out of my day and spending money, leaving my job to have someone tell me to go to Walgreens and take aleve?? What a joke. I still don’t know what I even have. She diagnosed me with a virus and couldn’t tell me what virus. My visit with Amy B Siegel was an awful waste of my time and I am extremely upset.

I’m struggling with anxiety and she refuses to give me the care I need. She’d rather me suffer with anxiety than to do her job.

When the results came in, she cheerfully announced to me from the hallway that I did indeed have a UTI, making it seem as though she had thought I was lying, and then said she would send the prescription to a pharmacy without even attempting to answer any of the questions I had about this antibiotic. I ask Dr. Siegel what is the name of antibiotic she prescribed and after I told it not worked for me previously.

I went for a physical checkup and she hardly spent 5 minutes to discuss the issues and also charged me saying that I discussed issues that were not part of the exam. I would not recommend this doctor.

I went in for a specific issue and mentioned I was experiencing significant decline in mood and increase in anxiety and wanted to address that as well. Three things went wrong. 1. She said she could only address the issue I was scheduled for, that I would have to make another appointment to assess my mood. 2. She did not even do a depression or suicide screener. 3. She mentioned that my initial issue could be due to diet or high alcohol use, but she did not even do an alcohol screener. Fortunately, neither of these are issues for me, but I do know they are very common in a large percentage of individuals. Disappointed in the care I received and will keep looking for another provider.

I just heard that you were leaving your practice, I just want to thank you for taking great care of my Mom and Dad when they were still with us. They always spoke highly of you, and you always seem to fit them into your schedule. You will be missed.
