I delivered my second baby with Dr. Hjort a few years ago and now that I am overseas looking for a doctor to deliver my third, I compare them all to her. She was amazing in every way. Direct, easy to understand, short and sweet but always took a minute at the end of the exam to ask how things were going and what my questions were. She never seemed in a rush to push me out the door. During labor when my daughter was coming out, she saw that the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck- however, she didn't tell me this at the time, only very firmly and patiently told me to stop pushing. I didn't even know until after the birth when my husband informed me. Personally, I appreciated this. She had it completely under control, didn't want to worry me but also was firm but patient in her instructions- knowing I was mid push. I would fly back to the states to deliver our third with her if it was possible.

Dr. Hjort is always energetic, patient and professional. Definitely recommending.

Dr Hjort is great, upfront, honest, energetic. Sometimes I had to wait a little bit but that’s like most doctors offices. Definitely recommend

I had very terrible experience. Office staff was very rude. If you want to be treated like a number when your pregnant for first time then this is right doctors office for you.

I must say Dr Hjort is capable and pleasant. Problem in this office is they WAY over book. I wound up waiting over an hour just to be rushed through my appt. Im now looking for another doctor.

Dr. Hjort is excellent! She is wonderful and takes her time with you. I would recommend her to anyone. She is an excellent addition to the office.
