Dr. Amy Klavin Schutt, MD

Dr. Schutt was condescending, acted like I should be grateful just to be in her office, and listed many inaccurate dates and facts in my consult note. She also made me repeat an invasive intravaginal ultrasound I had just had done a week prior (presumably so she could bill more) and her staff made me wait almost two hours after my appointment to schedule my next procedure, which Dr. Schutt then cancelled two weeks later without further explanation. Horrible experience, but very glad I transferred my care to another clinic and did not pursue further care with Dr. Schutt/her practice.

I just want to say that Dr. Amy Schutt and her entire team are absolutely by far the best! I’m just so grateful I came to her at the right time. My GYN referred me to Dr. Schutt in hopes to help me conceive our first child. The day of our first appointment with Dr. Schutt, she was so lovely, explaining all the options that were available, she started with an ultrasound that same day, come to find out as she was observing my ultrasound she found something abnormal, of course I was afraid, but I placed my complete trust in her. She then discussed and suggested a biopsy to be done and get it tested to make sure it wasn’t anything more serious. So we proceeded, by the next day I received a call from her asking to see me the following day to discuss my biopsy results. The following day, finally came and we met and there she confirmed that in fact, my results came back confirming cancer cells, and possibly wouldn’t be able to carry my own child. It was the saddest news ever! At that moment a… million of thoughts came to mind, and I didn’t imagine this ever happening to me. What I loved the most about this visit was that within one day of seeing me, she had already gone above and beyond for me. She explained what needed to be done, and she had already spoken to the oncologist who she was referring me too, who is absolutely wonderful. She had already scheduled me for an appointment by the following Tuesday. She knew the desires of my heart, she took care of me, from the very first second she noticed something wasn’t right with my ultrasound. Dr. Schutt and her team never forgot about me, a week prior to my surgery they called me to inform me that they would love to helping me, by participating in a research study in hopes to help cancer patients to preserve eggs and tissue. This is exactly what we wanted. I may not be able to carry my own child, but Dr. Schutt to offer me this opportunity is hope for the future. Dr. Schutt and her entire team made this happen for us and work closely with my oncologist. Day of surgery came it was a complete success, couldn’t be any happier with my decision, with joy in my heart. Feeling beyond blessed because 2 weeks after my surgery my pathology report came back 98% cleared from cancer. Praise God! I can’t even begin to explain how much I truly appreciate Dr. Schutt for saving my life. She’s my hero! She is by far the BEST! I recommend her.

I had my first IVF treatment with Dr. Schutt. I requested their success rates 3 times and never received an answer. When I was not stimulating fast enough, Dr. Schutt wanted to cancel the cycle. After my failed IVF treatment under Dr. Schutt, I asked what could be done differently next time. She responded, "Honestly, I wouldn't do anything differently." Unless you are a perfect textbook patient with absolutely nothing abnormal occurring during your IVF treatment, Dr. Schutt is incapable or unwilling to come up with alternative solutions to problems.

There aren't enough stars to rate Dr. Schutt! She is absolutely, hands down, an AMAZING, compassionate doctor!! She goes above and beyond to assist ALL her patients and their needs. I've never had a doctor spend as much time with me and my situation. Her ultimate goal is to achieve any issues/matters at hand while keeping you healthy and happy!! Thank you Dr Schutt for your brilliance!! Allen and I are truely blessed to have you and your team!
