I was referred here after an accident I was in has left me in chronic pain since. I knew as soon as he walked in the room there was a coldness about him. He wasn't warm, personable or friendly. The first thing he said was he wanted to lower the ONLY medication I take for pain that has worked well for me. Of course I was upset and scared to be in unbeatable pain again, and told him exactly that. He left the room and didn't come back. His nurse came to tell me wanted me to leave and refused to help me further. I left in tears. Embarrassed, scared, and in pain. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Lord knows if he was the one in chronic pain he'd want help. What goes around, comes around.

I was referred to this dr for chronic pain problems. The office itself is a scary place to go- the Medical Mall looks unsanitary and freaked me out. The Dr sent a student in first to go through my history then after awhile Dr Prem came in & after being in a successful pain mgt clinic in another state, I assumed I could find a similar facility when I moved here. Not the case. His only suggestions were to put me on a lower medication than I was currently taking, even though I went to get a better one that would help me more than the ones I was already on. Then he said the only other possibility was to give me an epidural surgery that would fix my pain for a full year. I immediately knew there was no possibility for that to occur and other drs i've spoken to since then have laughed when i told them this. they know that s not possible either. I did not see him again and months later still have not found a dr that will rx any medications other than vitamins and they aren't covered by… insurance and im on disability and can hardly afford them! what is wrong with this state where no one rx's medication to a patient with a pristine record of not abusing medication????? State representatives got up to $675k from pharmaceutical lobbyists in 2012 alone, so no wonder MS won't consider medicinal marijuana and too many people abuse strong meds and patients like me have to suffer because of it! I sometimes with i'd never moved here because my pain is unbearable and no one will help me.
