Dr. Andamo Guillaume

This man should NOT be a *PEDIATRIC* ENT. When dealing with a child, one should at least pretend to care. We went in 6 weeks post-op and were spoken to as though my spouse and I were complete idiots. Turns out he 100% botched the ear tube surgery, in my son’s right ear, but arrogantly insisted his surgeries are always perfect. We went to another practice for a REVISION surgery. Our boy can now actually HEAR.

He put me at ease immediately with his calm, friendly demeanor. He listened patiently to what I had to say and addressed each detail. He looked me in the eyes as he was explaining what was happening to me. (Lots of doctors don't.) He explained what was going on so I understood what was happening. (Not like some Doctors that throw out medical term after medical term and don't ask if you understand what that means.) I would definitely recommend Dr. Guillaume!

After not being able to hear for 6 months - he told me that I was making it all up and not to come back because he will not help. The absolute WORST experience and I am contacting the medical board.

Don't go to this doctors office if you want your prescription the same day!! Dr Guillaume is complacent and forgetful. I choose this doctors office because they were in my insurance network and they were able to get me an appointment the next day for some very painful ear pain I was having. At my appointment I was treated by Dr. Guillaume. After Dr. Guillaume looked at my ear he said he was going to prescribe me so drops to put in my ear to remedy the pain from the infection I was having. As he walked to the front desk he told me the prescription would be sent to the pharmacy that I had provided on the forms I filled out when I checked in and to give them about an hour before they would be ready for pick up. That was just before 3 PM. At 6 PM I went to the pharmacy (Walgreens) to pick up my prescription and they had nothing on file. I had them check all the Walgreens in the local area to see if my prescription had got sent to another location by mistake, but they said they showed… nothing at any Walgreens for my name and date of birth. So I called the Southwest Texas ENT whose office was closed. I was however able to speak with a operator who said they would send a message to the on call doctor who would call me that evening. I explained the amount of pain I was in and how I needing the prescription before the pain and the infection got any worse. He explained to me I would hear something back that evening. Well after a sleepless night of using over the counter pain medication and no prescription to treat my ear, I called Southwest Texas ENT office first thing at 8 AM when they opened. I explained to the receptionist what had happened and she checked on her computer and verified I had correctly put down the Walgreens in the 6600 block of Bandera as the pharmacy to send the prescription to and also verified that no prescription was sent out. She said she would send a message to Dr Guillaume, who was at his south side office and someone would get in touch with me. At a little before 9 AM I was called by Mike who explained that Dr Guillaume had just sent the prescription about 10 minutes ago so in another hour or so I could go pick it up. When asked why it didn't get done last night he explained DR Guillamue got busy in clinicals and did not send the prescription in. Thanks a lot Dr Guillamue and Southwest Texas ENT. I will never go to your office again!

Had the worst appointment ever with this provider and will not see him again. Belittle us for our concerns and felt there were not problems at all, although our child kept complaining of ear pain and on antibiotic therapy for the past few months.

Dr.Guillaume and his staff are great. I have seen this doctor more than once for different reasons. He has performed nasal surgery as well as allergy testing. He always takes the time to make me feel important.
