Dr. Andrea Jill Leeds, MD

I recently had a visit with her for my son , this woman doesnt let you speak , condescending and raised her voice towards me . Very inappropriate and unprofessional . Would have given her 0 stars if it was an option.

Would have given NO stars if possible. Rude and condescending. Very strict office rules, with charges for everything. No fax. Left the practice and would only give medical records for a steep fee. Confronted her this is unlawful. Talks to officials staff like they are morons. Needs anger management. Female Chauvinist.

I tried this Dr. For 6 months as I thought the way to go would be a solo practitioner. I was shocked when I entered this office, extremely dirty and In a house, the Dr.'s Son is the receptionist and he seems on the edge every time you call. No Fax, or email, and when you call the machine tells you to call back. Her Hours are awful for middle school kids and the office is so small that you hear the Dr's other examinations while they are going on. My middle school asked for paper work and they refused to give it to me without an appointment. My daughter had missed many days of school and I didn't want to bring her in as they were asking for a physical from last year not from current year. The school nurse called twice and I made an appointment to pick up. When I got there, I was told no. I tried to explain but they were just yelling about their policies. . She is Rude and thinks she's the best Dr. you ever met and deserves to act like that to the "crazy" moms. She gives you… her cell and then yells at you when you call because she is on vacation and told me "who do I think I am, a friend??" The bathroom reads "only pee pee" really? Horrible.

First of all, don't engage Dr. Leeds if you are claustrophobic. Her home-based office was probably converted from a medium sized family room. You'll be packed into the waiting room like sardines should, God forbid, the next patient family arrive early. Aside from being abrasive and generally unpleasant, she also demonstrates a true disdain for her patients. During one visit, I recall hearing her talk to a kid's mom about how excited she became when she learned that Doctors were finally able to sell their receivables to debt collectors. She relished the notion that, "these people will eventually be reported to Credit Rating Agencies and won't be able to get mortgages." Great small talk, Dr. Leeds. How about considering some anger management therapy. Then there's is the matter of her office not having a fax machine. What Dr.'s office doesn't have a fax machine; this is absurd!! I think you get the idea.

Here's a summary of my experience with her: 1. Talks down to parent, will not parent finish explaining child's symptoms before reaching a conclusion. 2. Requires an office visit for simple questions that can be answered on the phone 3. Does not fax or email any documents, requires another office visit and appointment. We forgot to get an absence note from her after our visit and she refused, had me come in from the city to pick the note. 4. Scares parents with absurd diagnosis and then sends you to the ER for simple things. She told me my kid may have cancer, turned out it was her lack of knowledge of the condition. ER doctor questioned why pediatrician sent us to the ER over such a simple issue that could be fixed with some meds. 5. She doesn't hesitate to mouth off to you and start a confrontation. 6. If you request a copy of your child's recent shots, she charges for it, and it you change doctors, she will give you a hard time on your last visit. She charges for… everything! 7. She does not have a thermometer in the office to check a child's temperature, she will ask the parent what the temperature was before coming to the office and note that in the child's chart. 8. Office is quite a tight space, barely any place to sit, dirty, filthy, and just weird!

This is one of the rudest physicians I have ever spoke with. You would be a fool to take your child there. As an educated adult I would expect to be treated with dignity and respect- this woman is rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend that you take a rodent to see her.

Dr. Leeds is truly a one of a kind doctor.She cares for your child as if he/she were her own. I am so grateful she is our children's pediatrician.
