Dr. Andrea Denise Siano, MD

I visited 11/1 for an appointment of great concern and Dr. Siano was rude and dismissive. She interrupted me several times never letting me complete a statement assuming she knew what I was going to say. Rude and unprofessional. She also misinformed me saying because the rash was localized it couldn’t be caused by the medication. That is not true per the prescribing doctor. Don’t go see her, especially if your child is sensitive and feels unheard and/or suffers from low self esteem her behavior will reiterate the child's concerns. She did nothing to validate our concerns. Also, we had a future appointment scheduled for Jan 3 which I asked her to confirm the date and time. I began to say you didn't have anything available so we chose another doctor but she cut me off stating she doesn’t work on Wednesdays. That is untrue. We recently cancelled one due to it being my daughter's birthday is 12/13 which is a Wednesday. We got a new PCP, wish us luck! We generally have had great experiences… with Kaiser.

Ugh where to begin. One word: terrible care. She never listens, waves you away as an overworried parent. I had to do my own research and request my own tests because she just again never listened. I don’t know if they have a time frame to spend per each patient but it seems that way with this lady. She was rude. She never ever follows up. I don’t recommend her at all and honestly don’t understand how she came to care for children because she has no patience. Please steer clear. I finally removed her as my child’s doctor and won’t ever use her again. Let’s just say there have been a lot of wasted appointments. But all the doctors at this Clairemont Mesa facility seem to operate this way so must be the way kaiser runs things. Spend the money and go with sharp. Better staff and better care.
