Dr. Andrew R Greenspan, MD

Dr Greenspan was completely rude to our family while my mother was under his care. He scolded my father if he asked questions. He was never fully honest. He dismissed anything we said. His staff didn’t return calls. They ignored concerns that put my mother in the hospital for their oversight. We went to the Cleveland clinic for a second opinion and they confirmed my mother’s hospital stays could have been avoided had he been listening to her. If you care at all for yourself or loved one with cancer do not seek treatment with him or the IU cancer center.

Dr. Greenspan is one of the BEST doctors that I have ever been treated by. He is always spends plenty of time with me and answers all of my questions or he will get me the answer. I was referred to him by another great doctor, Ronald Boris, for renal cell carcinoma. After beginning immuno-therapy, my tumors have stopped growing. It has been a "rocky road" along the way but, never once was Dr. Greenspan not there for me when I needed him. I believe I am alive today because of his expert care.

A doctor I saw in the IU chain recommended me to Dr. Greenspan. I was so happy to finally see someone that could possibly provide answers to what I was experiencing. Boy was I wrong... When Dr. Greenspan entered the room he was not friendly he did not introduce himself the first thing he said is what am I seeing you for? The first thing I thought is that this appointment is off to a rocky start. He stayed across the room from me at a distance the entire appointment and asked questions, like who sent you? why did they send you to me? Looks like they are just passing you off? There were uncomfortable moments of silence during the appointment as he spent most of his time on the computer not telling me what he was doing. He literally made me feel like a sh!t. He eventually told me he was going to submit some tests as he got up and opened the door and told me to follow him. Dr. Greenspan regardless of how you felt about the referral the way you treated me was awful. I've seen many doctors… in my 40 years on this earth and you by far was the rudest, uptight, disrespectful, non-caring medical provider I have ever encountered. You did not even contact me to discuss my results or even send me a message through the IU portal. I will pray for you, just remember you still got paid regardless of the horrid service you provided to me on that day.

Dr. Greenspan is taking care of my husband. He must be good or I'd run out of the office screaming and yelling! I like that he is to the point and honest. We also thing he's a pretty special human being! If you're ever looking for a knowledgeable, honest and caring oncologist, go see Dr. Greenspan. We love him!

This doctor is the best doctor I have ever met!! He has taken such great care of my grandmother and was just straight to the point. He is an amazing doctor and I would trust him with anyone's life.

Doctor Greenspan is a excellent doctor and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone that needs his help.

I think he is the greatest Dr. Wouldnt want any other on my side helping me.

This man is truely an angel. He took on my husbands case and was honestly concerned. He ended up saving my husbands life and continues to follow up with us. He really has become apart of our family and I would recommend anyone to him. He really is our Guardian Angel!!!

Dr. Greenspan is an excellent doctor. Not only is he knowledgeable; he is a very caring and compassionate person. He will spend time listening and discussing issues with you about all of your health concerns. I have seen many doctors and I must say that he is truly a gift to the medical profession!
