Dr. Andrew Miller Cash, MD

I came to Dr. Cash after years of suffering neck pain after an auto accident. I had tried EVERYTHING else...steroids, nerve ablation, blockers, medication...all to no avail. My chiropractor recommended him after finding structural damage to my neck (which everyone else had missed). Dr. Cash did a diskectomy/fusion, and I got much better. I had to have another procedure(same one, one level down), as my disc below had degraded so fast. He listens, talks about all of your options, and has a great bedside manner. What a fantastic surgeon...and person.

My name is Scottie Briscoe. I have been a patient of Dr. Cash for nearly 3 years now. He is the most courteous, caring, knowledgeable, professional, and skilled surgeon I know. He performed a spinal fusion on me two years ago and gave me my life back. I was nearly unable to walk due to a crushed vertebrae. Since the surgery, I have walked over 5000 miles pain free and lost 60 pounds. I continue to work out and am in better shape now than I have been in many years, which I attribute to the expertise of Dr. Cash. I have seen some recent negative reviews that are extremely slanderous. They obviously are jealous lies and probably pain pill seekers, or they would have used their names. The public is much smarter than these slanderers would think. People can see through lies. I am not ashamed to put my name here because I am telling the truth. Dr. Cash is an amazing doctor. I would put my life in his hands.

My experience with Dr. Cash has been excellent everytime I see him. He is extremely polite and curtious along with his staff. They make me feel comfortable about being at the doctors office. Thanks to Dr.Cash my pain has gone and I am now able to walk again pain free, travel, and do things with my family that I was unable to do before his healing hands operated on me. Dr. Cash is and excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Cash is a wonderful Doctor/surgeon. He is very courteous, caring, prompt, informative, and professional. After having other unsuccessful treatments for my back pain, we decided that surgery was the best option for me. He did a spinal fusion/discectomy on my L5 S1 on 6-3-13 and gave me my life back. I was barely able to walk before and am now able to walk pain free. Since the surgery I have walked nearly 5000 miles and lost 60 pounds. I owe this success to Dr. Cash's expertise in his field and the encouragement I received from him. Also his staff is fantastic. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Thank you Dr. Cash. You are the best.

I waited over an hour in severe pain. He had a drug test and xrays done even though this was just a consult. Way to pad the bill. His manner was disaffected, removed. Told me to do just what I had done previously which did work. Also wanted another MRI even though I brought a current one in that only a couple weeks old. Also they forgot to give me my MRI back and when I called the next day they said they couldn't find it. Wow I'd hate to think what he would do during an operation. I think the RJ's article was so wrong about him. He pushed on my hip bones extremely hard that his hands were shaking and my pain has increased so much since then. He said he had to see if it would irritate me and then he would know that my SI joint was really hurt. What the was the MRI for. No other doctor had to do that. I don't even think he deserves a star. Ease of appointment,,sure he wants your money.

Dr. Cash is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

I have been having sciatic issues for the last 6 months and was referred to Dr. Cash to evaluate the situation. Dr. Cash's prescribed physical therapy in order to avoid surgery. After a month or pt, we reevaluated my situation and decided that surgery was my best route. I had surgery last week and the moment I awoke from surgery my sciatic pain was gone.

he and i butt heads sometimes but he's still an excellent doctor a bit too serious sometimes.

My overall with this surgeon is very good. I had a surgery done with him on my lower back because i had problems with a disc and he assisted me with my problem. After the surgery i had no pain,i have heard from some of my co-worker about there family members having surgery and they didnt come out well. At first i was scared and worried about having this done. I was skeptic but i am very happy with my results. I would most definitely recommend this surgeon. Also,when you go to your appointments the staff is very kind and there very fast on attending people.

Poor bedside manner, long wait. I'd rather go with someone less abrasive. He talks into a microphone during the appointment which is awkward and I wasn't sure sometimes if he was speaking to me or what...??? He does know his craft well and is highly recommended by his peers. That said, I'm in pain and what I don't need to put up with is a rude doctor.Also, my wait time has been over 1 hour on several visits before I changed doctors...

I wanted to thank Dr Cash for his skills and knowledge and his willingness to try to help me quickly. I have spinal stenosis and struggled with walking, standing and sitting (sometimes wheelchair bound). Even after 2 back surgeries (NOT done by Dr Cash)I was still in pain. Dr Cash was highly recommended and within 3 months I was scheduled for surgery. He not only repaired the area that was a problem but proceeded to correct problems from my last surgeries. Recovery took time but I am walking, driving, and enjoying life. At 74 years old my kidneys were not functioning and had to stop taking celebrex. I was taking celebrex to stop the pain and even after stopping taking the celebrex I was and still am fine. Dr Cash did such a remarkable, outstanding job that I am still blessed with little pain in my back.

I have two small children that I was unable to play with as often as I would have if I had the ability to. After many years of being a cocktail waitress I couldnt bare the pain any longer. I was referred to see Dr. Cash through a friend of my family. The first visit I waited about 30-40 minutes before I actually seen him. Dr. Cash sent me for additional testing. To make a long story short after a year of different studies Dr. Cash was agreeable to perform my surgery. That is why I was so dedicated. Im 34 years old he said surgery is the last result and he meant it. Im thankful that I followed through and cooperated with his suggestions. The only bad experience I ever had was because I failed to comply with his requests for additional testing. I prolonged the surgery. I remember at one point him saying "getting better starts with you, I can't do my part until you do yours. Therefore, I felt Dr. Cash wasnt about making a buck. He actually cared about me as a person. So thank you Dr. Cash.

I would not recomend this Dr, he`s very cold and uncaring his name says it all CASH!!! that`s all he cares i didn`t see him in the operating room and he discharge me over the phone not even once he came to see me after surgery, Kimberly!! his assistant is RUDE!! and made more then 3 mistakes including divulging personal info with the anesthesic team, when i went to see him after my surgery and being seeing by her, the nurse came in and send me home she didn`t cover my wound , not even help me with my neck brace, and Kim she talks to you so close after she finish eating!! that you have to hold your breath ! VERY unprofessional!!! and again i WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS DOCTOR TO NOBODY!!! C A S H !!!! that`s all he really cares.
