I'm very satisfied with this doctor. He's efficient, direct, funny, smart, and caring.

Horrible bedside manner, doesn't answer questions, talks over patients, and despite saying oral cancer looks like this, won't do a biopsy because teenagers don't get oral cancer, and he said he never saw cancer on the inside upper lip. Along with our dentist, his student said it looks suspiciousl, but again refused to do a biopsy. He even went as far as to question me when he asked about a family history of cancer. (I just fought and won a battle against a rare cancer) I could go on. He is horrible! Stay away from him. ("Teenagers don't get oral cancer". what a quack!)

He has always been kind and informative. He provided sound quantitative as well as qualitative data that allowed us to make decisions about future care including quality of life considerations..

He is a very polite person. He has immense patience to listen to you and answer all your questions precisely. Overall he is a very good doctor!

My daughter was diagnosed with ameloblastoma last August. She had two teams of surgeons who were both very thorough, patient and kind. She had to have more than one surgery at the same time. Dr. Salama removed the tumor along with most of her lower teeth and jaw bone. The jaw was replaced with a metal plate and a bone from her leg. Thank God my daughter's surgery went well, I was well informed of everything that was going to happen before the surgery and it went according to plan. My daughter healed well and she is doing well physically and emotionally. I would not have had anyone else perform her surgery. I felt very comfortable with Dr Salama and I would recommend him to my family and friends. I love his office staff, the surgical team, his bedside manner and his faith in God. He is a very intelligent man and I am happy he was my daughter's surgeon.

I was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer 2012. After extensive pre-op conversations I consented to Dr. Salama surgically removing a tumor from my jaw. Salama damaged my lingual nerve during surgery. Lingual nerve damage takes away your ability to taste and feel temperature on the side of the tongue where the nerve is. My tongue is also always sore and has all sorts of disturbing sensations. Salama told me for over a year that my tongue would heal. He was wrong. The consent form I signed made no mention of possible damage to my lingual nerve during surgery. At no time prior to surgery was lingual nerve damage ever mentioned. When I asked why I was never told of such a possible outcome, Dr. Salama said "it was not relevant". I live every day with how relevant his injury to my nerve is. He did not prepare me for this very disturbing outcome and I am left wondering, if it was so irrelevant, how did he damage my nerve during surgery. The affects of nerve damage overshadow any good he did.

Dr. Andrew Salama saved my life 3 years ago. He has the best bedside manner, easy to talk to, funny, caring, took the very best care of me. He still does. I love the staff, you know them on a different level, they also spend time with me and talk. Dr Salama is a very very smart man and he cares.
