Andrew R Mastay, DPM

I had surgery in Jan 2025 with Andrew Mastay. I won’t call him a Dr. He lied on his charting that he removed my sutures at my first post op visit which he did not. He forgot and left them in and they got infected. This is unacceptable. 6 months later and I’m still having complications. This was for a bunion which should have been fairly simple. I’ve been an RN for 28 years and know how things are supposed to go. He committed many errors on my foot which I now have pain daily verses minimal prior. I’m going to have problems for the rest of my life. As other reviews have said… Run away fast! This man should not be in practice.

I saw Dr. Mastay in 2024, and had a terrible experience with him. He was very curt and unhelpful. Upon initial consultation with him, he was rushed, and did not do anything helpful. I had foot surgery previously and experienced other foot-related issues. He did not want to take any X-rays to see what the current status of my feet were--he said, literally, 'An X-ray would be a waste of time' unless he was going to do surgery on me. He had no empathy, and the critical piece that prompted me to leave this review was that I had two diabetic ulcers on one foot, and when the Urgent Care office called his office THREE TIMES, and I followed up another THREE TIMES, his office NEVER contacted me. I wound up getting osteomyelitis in my foot, and the replacement DPM I saw suggested AMPUTATION. Dr. Mastay is terrible, and irresponsible. He should have his medical license revoked. Doctors are supposed to treat patients, and help them heal. This doctor's inactions harmed me. RUN AWAY FAST!!

Dr.Mastay is an excellent physician that took care my plantar fasciitis extremely well, explain everything very well, so if you need a foot Dr Dr. Mastay is the one!!!
