Dr. Andrew B. Stefaniwsky, MD

I have known Dr. Stefaniwsky since he took care of my dying father in 1988, Being a physician myself, when I saw how thorough and caring he was, I decided to have him as my primary care physician and gastroenterologist and have been with him ever since. When my husband became ill in 1999, I took my husband to him as well. He has always provided us with the right advice, excellent care and appropiate referrals when the medical problem was not in his area of expertise. I have referred many other patients to him and they have all been very satisfied. Dr. Stefaniwsky has always worked tirelessly to provide the best care for his patients. I am glad he is my doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Stefaniwsky for 5+ years where I had endoscopies at his surgery center right by office and I have always had a great experience. He spends time and asks lots of questions to get to bottom of the situation. He’s experienced and has a great personality. I definitely recommend Dr Stef for all of your gastro problems.

So the night before a scheduled procedure with Dr Stefaniwsky, he calls to tell us we need to bring a “good faith” check to cover the deductible. Then he says - and these are his words- less than 12 hours before the early morning procedure- “Hope to see you tomorrow morning.” He and his staff had the insurance information for weeks before the scheduled procedure. I find this absolutely unconscionable and am considering filing a complaint with my insurance company about Dr Stefaniwsky. Not to mention the delay in finding out the results of the procedure.

Dr. Stefaniwsky has been taking care of me and my family for many years. He is an excellent doctor and I hope that he will continue to take care of me for many years to come.

Misdiagnosed resulting in delay of medication. This delay made me sick for months. Do not call with an emergency after 10pm. The answering service will tell you that Dr. Stephanuski ask that you not disturb him as he is sleeping.

Dr. Stefaniwsky and the rest of the staff are phenomenal caretakers. Highly recommended.

Dr. Stef is a wonderful doctor. His staff although is not very friendly or compassionate towards patients. Would highly recommend him!

A doctor that knows what to do and does it. No guessing games and right to the point. He cares about your feelings and follows up with results.I hope he never leaves his practice to retire because I will be lost.
