Dr. Andrew Warren Smith, MD

Discounted my description of health issue. Had low confidence of being able to help. Would perform incision anyway and scheduled for procedure. I cancelled and am seeking another practice and opinion.

I hate that office I will never go back again they’re rude and not compassionate nor caring about their patients. They don’t communicate well neither, they give you a time frame for recovery and everyone heals differently. They literally throw you back to work before your actual time frame recovery, it’s bad enough that these surgeries are dramatic to your body emotionally and physically. Even if you are saying you are not ready they’re mean and rude over an extension, even if it’s a week extra. I feel like they don’t listen to concerns or questions you have. They’re very confusing and definitely don’t stick to actual protocol.

Dr. Smith was amazingly compassionate and honest as to what I could and could not expect. I think he is a wonderful doctor and because of his excellence, it is slightly more difficult to get an appointment. I have had excellent results as noted by multiple other physicians and other healthcare professionals. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing breast reconstruction.

I have never done a review for a Doctor before, but felt it was needed for Dr. Smith. I had to have 2 surgeons, one for colon and Dr. Smith for hernia repair. To say the least I was very scared and unsure of everything. Dr. Smith explained things to me in terms that I understood because it was more was involved than just using mesh. Even though he was very busy the morning of my surgery he took the time to make sure I was all right. He is a compassionate doctor with a wonderful bedside manner, which I don't usually find in surgeons. He also was able to close me without using staples which the nurses in the hospital were amazed at. He did a wonderful job and I'm on the mend. If you are looking for a great plastic surgeon I highly recommend Dr. Smith - you can't go wrong!!
