Dr. Angela Marie Derosa, DO

Its been several years, but in my experience, all Dr. Derosa cares about is making money. I went to her for hormone pellets. It was nice at first, but they increased the dose, after I asked them to decrease it. I started bleeding profusely for months. Could get NO help from the office. Ended up going to a great gynecologist who said I needed a hysterectomy. The other day I got a notice that she is closing her office. I'd bet it's because of malpractice.

BE CAUTIOUS! I typically do not write reviews on social media. However, I do not want this to happen to anyone else. On more than one occasion DeRosa's medical assistants have called in the WRONG PRESCRIPTION or WRONG PRESCRIPTION DOSAGE. The first time I did not notice until after taking the prescription. I had a bad reaction that require medical attention. I was seen the same day by another doctor and the correct prescription and dose was given. I was also told upon leaving that there would not be a charge for the visit, which I felt seemed appropriate considering the circumsatances. A week later, I received a bill in the mail for $100 FOR THE OFFICE VISIT. Since then I have explained this to several people in person and over the phone at the Scottsdale office, all of which have never been able to give me an answer or an apology.

Dr.'s Angela De Rosa and Mary Montes are two of the finest healh care practioners and women on this beautiful planet! Today I give *GRATITUDE* for both of them!

Initially I would have said this doctor was magical because the hormone pellets stopped my hot flashes immedialty and I was feeling so awful it seemed like a blessing. After a year of treatment I realized they are completely overdosing me on testosterone (as a female I have levels over 300...and estrogen. After suffering heart palpitAtions and huge mood swings I have sought the advice of several other doctors. All three have been absolutely appalled by my bloodwork numbers for the last year and I have even been told by one that this boarder lines on malpractice and they are poisoning me with such high hormone levels. I am not a doctor so I don't know who is right, but to have had three other medical professionals be shocked and concerned about he levels of hormones I was being given is enough to make me look elsewhere for hormone replacement therapy.

They are caring and help you feel better!

I have been to this clinic about 6 times and have been happy with the exception of today. My PA had a family emergency so I had to see this ridiculous other PA or NP. Not only did she argue with me about my flu-like symptoms, she told me to be patient and that it can take 21 days for this to clear. I repeated to her multiple times it's been almost 5 weeks and she told me is was probably allergies. Funny, I have a cold sore and my body aches. Allergies have NEVER done this to me. Then she snapped at me to not touch my cold sore. I wanted to scream at her that I am a grown woman and don't need to be told not to touch something, to be patient or that I have allergies. I went home and had my retires RN mom check my ears and throat since this lovely PA didn't check them herself despite me telling her it hurt. Sure enough, I have red in my ear and drainage in my throat (not the allergy) kind either. She also told me that she wouldn't change my thyroid meds. I'll never go back and am… considered called the AZ Medical Board since she neglected to check all the symptoms I told her about and for her telling me to be "patient" while this clears up (apparently 5 weeks is not being patient) simply so she could go home for the day. Don't go here - I've yet to see an actual doctor and I swear I feel worse since I went to this place. Save your time, money and "patience".

I recommend avoidance of this DO. She doesn't know hormones and my experience was overdose of testosterone because free testosterone tested but not bound testosterone. Please avoid will cost money and not help.

Knowledge about hormone therapy very poor! I would not go to this office for hormone replacement. She gave me too much estrogen and has made my life miserable! QUACK

I've gave the Dobson office a year. You never get to see Dr. DeRosa herself. They only push hormone Pellets which is very hard to control and costs an harm & a leg. They only spend the time with you to charge more for the appointment.
