Summary
Dr. Filler considers herself a native Arizonan, even though she was born in South America. She was a member of the first graduating class at Mesa’s Dobson High School in 1982, and has lived in Arizona ever since. From an early age, she wanted to be a doctor, and in particular, a pediatrician because she always enjoyed working with kids.
She attended Arizona State University from 1982-1987 earning Bachelor’s degrees in both Microbiology and French. She then went on to the University of Arizona College of Medicine where she graduated in 1992, and returned to the Valley to do her residency in pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center. She spent 13 years as a pediatrician in the East Valley before moving to Desert Valley Pediatrics in 2011
