Dr. Angela Maria Petronio, MD

I miss my Dr. Petronio very much. Never have been able to get a PCP as good as her since she moved to Farmington. Wish I could afford the $2000 a year I would go back to her in a minute.

She is the Best Doctor!!!

After all the wonderful comments I read I was expecting much more from this doctor. I had a very specific reason for going to a concierge doctor, I am still having puzzling symptoms that are disrupting my personal and professional life and was looking for a doctor to help me with differential diagnosis and referrals. The office e staff said that the appointment could be for anything I wanted. I emphasized that I had already had a physical and did not need a physical repeated. What I got was a doctor who wanted to know if I liked my job, had guns in my home and did I cook for myself. She was not interested in helping with the differential diagnosis of my problem( " don't you have a doctor to follow you for that?) and I consider this a stunning weakness s for a practice that claims to personalize medicine.I also listened to alot of whining about how they couldn't order any testing for me until the following week because it was a holiday week , the other MD was away and that Dr. Petronio… was covering everyone. Can't discuss all my symptoms in this review but they include episodes of sudden loss of consciousness .Didn' t concern her in the least, kept asking about diabetes I my family when I had a normal hemoglobinA1C.Problem here is she likes to run the show and nothing is important unless she thinks it is. If you are interested in this practice please request a short meeting with the doctor to find out if they can provide what you want( the front office won't mention this option unless you ask).Once you pay them their retainer if you are dissatisfied you do NOT get all your money back. Don't be a chump ( like I was) and fall for the front office sales pitch, read the contract word for word and ask questions before signing anything.

It's wonderful how Dr. Petronio spends ample time to carefully discuss all aspects of your physical as well as general wellness overall.

Dr. Petronio is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Of all the general practitioners I have seen over my many years, she stands out as the best.

I really like Dr. Petronio. Wonderful physician and person. It's just unfortunate that you cannot get an appointment for an illness as needed; you have to see the PA unless you want to wait one or two weeks.

Dr. Angela Petronio exceeds all expectations! She is kind, caring, and extremely educated. She follows up and is consistant. Dr. Petronio takes her time, listens and THEN treats. When you have a scheduled visit with Dr. Petronio you DO NOT feel that you are on an insurance-remimbursement-only visit like you do with most physicians these days. There is no "egg timer". Dr. Petronio gives you 100% of her time and is thourough. Our family entrusts our lives with her. As a physician, she is also a wife and a mother and has a very normal bed side manner that is not so clinical, sterile an/or pompous. Dr. Petronio is one of the biggest assets affiliated with Hartford Hospital!

I have been to many doctor's offices in my 61 years, and I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Petronio. She and her assistant Camille are a wonderful team. You know your requests and questions will be followed through, and you always feel they truly care about your health. When necessary, Dr. Petronio does not hesitate to send you to a specialist.Her diagnoses are always on target. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Petronio is an outstanding physician and diagnostician. I used to work for her so I felt it was inappropriate to see her as a patient. When I left the practice, I felt I could finally have her as my doctor. Any doctor can take care of you when there are no real issues. Suffice it to say I have several chronic issues and one of them is serious. There is no higher rating I could give her than the best. She is superlative...in her diagnostic capabilities, patience in explaining things, caring, touch, and thoroughness. If I left out something, it's only because of me, not her.
