Dr. Angela Silber, MD

Damnnn after reading all this, I changed my mind about booking with her and I’m not even pregnant….

My OB office recommended Dr. Silber in 2014 since I had a high risk pregnancy and needed MFM care. She seemed very knowledgeable. She communicated with my other specialist, my regular OB and myself to make sure everyone was on the same page with my care. Personality-wise, she does come across a little stern at times, but in my opinion it seemed to come from a place of caring. I saw her get a little flustered one time in all of my repeated visits across 2 pregnancies and that was because I dropped the bombshell during labor with my first that I couldn't get a spinal for the csection that was required due to my son being in distress. She had to get things organized for an emergency csection with general anesthesia. It wasn't really addressed prior because I hoped for a natural birth and didn't plan for a csection . She didn't yell or anything, just understandably flustered. She did not deliver either of my children...my regular OB did both surgeries. The second pregnancy, she was… sweet, friendly and calm the whole way through. She even let me out of the hospital for Christmas since I was stable and she knew me well enough to know I'd monitor my condition and return. Im so thankful to have had her as my MFM!

Dr. Silber was one of the most unprofessional doctors I’ve seen. I went to her due to my baby having “IUGR”. She suggested I induce labor, when I delcined, she became rude and standoffish. When I asked questions, she was unable to answer them and kept repeating that I should induce. She used scare tactics to force me into her plan to induce and was not knowledgeable or willing to research my concerns. Very unprofessional. I would recommend finding someone else.

This has been the worst experience with a doctor I've ever witnessed. My partner was never listened too and her and my child's care was very mismanaged by this doctor. She adds stress to an already very stressful situation. She has no bed side manners. This doctor left my partner in such a state of distress I'm worried for my partner and our child.

She has no bed side manners and needs to learn how to treat her patients. She is extremely forceful and doesn't explain any medical options other than hers. She did not listem to me as the patient and went out of her way to make it difficult for my care team of other doctors to treat me. She chooses to voice only her view on a diagnosis while giving the impression that her treatments are the only ones available. She has prescribed me medications that shouldn't be taken with medications I'm already on without taking me off the prior medications. This is the worst most untrustworthy physician I have ever had the misfortune of being involved with. I have absolutely no trust in her ability to appropriately care for myself or my unborn child.

She is just amazing!

Dr. Silber put me through a 72 hour induction, 3 days with an epidural, started me at 1cm. My daughter and I almost didn't make it due to what she did to us. She ended up having to take me into an emergency c-section after my child went into stress. She left products of conception inside of me, she yelled at the people in the OR room and yelled at me during labor which should have been one of the happiest and memorable times of my life after trying to conceive for over 15 years of marriage. This Doctor treated me terrible, my family was and still is in shock after the way she treated me. I've never been treated so poorly by someone who is supposed to be professional. I returned to the hospital within 24 hours of leaving, with abscess in my abdomen and high fever due to HER NEGLIGENCE! I almost died. I had to have 3 major surgeries within 45 days of having a C-section, including a FULL HYSTERECTOMY because the abscess took over all of my female organs. They had to call in Oncologist… Gyno surgeons to take care of me. She robbed me of having more children by not cleaning me out properly during C-section and she set me up for a life that I never dreamed I would have to go through. I have extensive scar tissue and adhesions due to all of the surgeries and have to take 8mg of dilaudid every 4 hours just to be able to stand. I cannot stand longer than 10 minutes at a time. This is coming from a woman who was very active prior to this madness. I never dreamed I would have to ride those motorized carts at the grocery store in my late 30's or have to use a walker or wheelchair. I SPENT 8 months in the hospital after giving birth because of what she did to me. After all of the abscess, surgeries, I then got life threatening CDIFF with extensive colitis and had to go to Cleveland to see top Infection Disease specialists. She not only robbed me, but she robbed my daughter of her Mommy the first year of life. And not only that but my husband had to play both roles why I suffered day in and day out. It makes me incredibly angry of what she did to me and my family. I wish I could have sued her, as my attorney said I could have but the problem was I was in the hospital for so long that I only had a year to sue. Bottom line, this Doctor should not be practicing, her bedside manner is atrocious. And I hope she reads this...
