Dr. Angela Kay Stapleton-Mackenzie, MD

Dr Stapleton is an effective and knowledgeable health coach. She has intuitive insight, bolstered by her outstanding PA Kim Johnson. She is kind and unhurried. She is tightly scheduled and of necessity limits the number of topics to be discussed at one appointment. She is concerned about individual patients. She and her partners use a comprehensive and efficient computer program. I am dismayed that she and her partners were swallowed by a medical conglomerate. That company has found new reasons for billing me that I am not accustomed to. I brought in a lab sample and was billed for the act of bringing it in. It had been ordered by the Doctor. It is now unclear when I call which office is answering the phone - the corporate office or the doctors' office. Now that Dr. Stapleton is leaving Shoal Creek Medical, I will be looking for a Primary Care Doctor of Internal Medicine, hoping to find a replacement of her caliber. I will miss her.

I was in for a severe sprain of my ankle. She poked around and didn't even ask if where she was poking hurt. She did not listen to my concerns and treated me as though I was stupid. One of my daughters had seen her before, but I thought maybe as a patient it would be different for me. It wasn't. If she is the only one available for appointments, I will go to an Urgent Care Clinic over seeing her.

I have seen her as a physician since I was a child. She was not sympathetic and was very frightening. Now that I am an adult I will find a different physician. I don't recommend her.

She does not know what she doing. Do not trust her manner of knowing what she is talking about. She does not listen to your concerns

This doctor is very fake and shallow. She pretends to listen and then railroads you towards her diagnosis. She has her receptionists reschedule frequently for stupid reasons and I do not recommend anyone see her
