I received excellent care. I did not feel that she was rushing me through.

The doctor herself is wonderful and very efficient and quite professional. However, as noted by others, expect long waits on the phone to just book an appointment and then extremely long waits (4-5 months) to be able to schedule an appointment. Am now on a waiting list for a 'call in'....

I went to Dr. Wo twice, with the first time being to get a basal cell cancer on my nose "fixed." She and her staff at that time impressed me with their willingness to not use alcohol or beta-iodine to clean the area, and were willing to take a sample without numbing. (All things I needed and still do in order to get diagnosed.) However, what I recognized in doing a follow-up with a concern about a chronic and deadly immune condition is that she, along with her staff and others in town that I've seen, appear not to understand autoimmune/dermatological clinical signs. I told the nurse who took my vitals that a dermatologist's office had informed me of a lesion that was "pre-squamous cell cancer", and the nurse corrected me with, "You either have cancer or don't. There's no pre-cancerous squamous cell lesions." This added more stress and I left that appointment no closer to a diagnosis and treatment that I desperately need than when I entered. Also, the staff should realize that we… can hear them talking behind the door and take care not to insult a patient, who is a customer after all. (I won't be returning, but do respect Dr. Wo's training and her professionalism.) Finally, I was told that because I paid cash, the cost of the visit was 15% less. But I received a bill today for the rest. Health care is big business, after all.

She managed to get my teen to speak with her and follow her advice for a birth mark and severe acne.

The only problem is it takes 6-8 months to get an appointment with her

Only been once. Seemed very thorough, and had a good sense of humor as well. Hold times when calling Abq Health Partners is too long, so that could be improved.

Excellent Doctor. I have gone to Dr. Wo for two years. Great bedside manner, great listener, highly competent and knowledgable. Caught some skin cancer that I would have never suspected. Excellent treatment and follow-up. Very quick to schedule and accomodate follow-up visits. Regular visits are harder to schedule as she seems to have a lot of patients, and perhaps puts the more critical ones first. I have recommended her to several people, and all have been very pleased. Again, Great Doctor! I will continue to see her as long as I can.

The Doctor was professional and took the time to explain, then made the proper referrals and all has gone well with the referrals too. Definitely recommend her and the office staff. No wait time!!!

I couldn't be more pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Wo and her staff. Having read the very low scores she's received, I almost wondered if this was the same practitioner I've been seeing for the last year or so. I would recommend her to family and friends without hesitation.
