Dr. Angelique Brannon-Goedeke, MEDICAL, DOCTOR, MD

Dr. Goedeke is an excellent ob/gyn. I started using her when I was pregnant with my now 5 year old son Dylan. No matter how many times I messager her office or called or even showed up to L&D, she would always help me throught whatever I was going through during my pregnanacy.

Dr. Goedeke is an AMAZING OBGYN. I was new to Baton Rouge and was more than lucky to have found such a knowledgeable, patient, courteous, friendly, and helpful physician! Some doctors try to keep appointments short, cold, and find patients like me a bother--I like to know what is going on and the why behind everything. She answered any and all questions I had respectfully. We were in the process of switching insurances and they worked with us and ensured they took our new insurance. I also brought my little boy with me just about every visit during my pregnancy and the entire staff loved him and was more than wonderful about it. When we had an ultrasound, they allowed my in-laws to join so they could sneak a peak at our little bundle of joy as well. They also can draw your blood in the same office so I did not have to go to a separate clinic. When I went into labor, she wasn't the doctor on-call and she still came to the hospital for my delivery. She was calm, collected, and respectful… of any of my concerns or requests.

The Doctor herself was very very nice. She got me in and out for my check up fast. The office was a nightmare to find. Followed by a billing nightmare. I was being charged for some tests i didn't ask for that were not covered under my insurance. No one in the office could explain to me what the charges were. An office manager told me i was a dead beat and that i just didn't want to pay my bills. This was so upsetting, and the last place I expected to be treated with such a lack of empathy. Finally, some one from my insurance company sent me an email with the exact tests that were run and that they were for a new procedure of HPV testing every 3 years and that It wasn't covered under my plan and cost about $200.00 . If only the office could have told me that on the phone, It would have saved me a lot of stress and I would have just written a check and be done with it. 200 dollars is a lot when yearly check ups are usually covered and no one could be bothered to tell me… exactly what it was for. I hope this doctor moves on to a new office, because she was very nice
