Dr. Angelo A Dellapietra, DO

I needed to know what the problem was for him to resubmit new coding for a special blood test he prescribed, that I got charged for because he initially coded it as routine. Office assistant was harsh with me. When Dr. D. finally called me back, he got angry about dealing with Medicare and hung up on me 2 days ago. Today, I got a letter from him, requesting I find a new physician. Instead of explaining something to me like a professional, I received this low class reaction, a hang-up call, and him ending our therapeutic relationship (as he stated in his letter).

My health has vastly improved thanks to Dr. Della Pietra.

Superb physician, sharp and caring

He treats the cause , not just the symptoms. Great bedside manner; really gets to know his patients. Unfortunately, I switched to an insurance co that he does not accept and I need to find another primary doctor. I will miss him and his expertise.

I brought my 28 year-old son to Dr. Della Pietra, because of a seemingly sudden onset of high blood pressure; another doctor would have treated the blood pressure--Dr. D. identified the cause and advised a change in diet and suggested supplements, which totally resolved this issue, as well as his GERD issues, which he had since he was 14 years old. His most recent endoscopy was completely normal--after only four months on this new diet/supplement regimen. He is an amazing doctor--I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Dell is an outstanding doctor that works at treating the underlying cause of an illness rather than a quick (temperay) fix with drugs. His knowledge and treatment for compromised digestive system is second to none. Dr. Dell had been our doctor in the past till a move seperated us. When my daughter developed food allergies due to poor digestive system Dr Dell was the only one to correctly diagnose her. We now happily travel 3.5 hrs for his care.

My experience with Dr.Della Pietra was disappointing at best. Initially I found him to be professional,concientious,trust worthy. After several visits I realized he is incompetant accompanied by an ego that jepordized not only my health but my life. He made a major misdiagnosis, which I believe can happen, He is human. The tradgedy is he then lied directly to my face attempted to cover it up and the basically ostrosized me from his office. I was and still am very ill, and never returned my phone calls. When I decided I had to obtain another family doctor for help, my requests for my records were met with outrageous hollow protestations hidden behind office protocol. To sum it up, in my opinion, he was a bum in a suit, with a stethascope around his neck.He is a disgrace to his profession.

Dr. DellaPietra is the best doctor I have ever been to. That says a lot considering I have probably seen around 30 doctors before going to him. All of those other doctors have either minimally helped me or not helped me at all. I am finally making some improvements healthwise by following the advice of Dr. DellaPietra. He truly cares and looks at the whole person when diagnosing.
