Dr. Anita Louise Petteway, MD

Great doctor! She has been treating me for over 10 years. She's the best doctor I've every had; I'm in my 60s. Currently, I'm an out of state patient and fly in for my annual exam & tests. Wouldn't go to anyone else. She's patient, caring, thorough & as a female; she makes me very comfortable. She's highly recommended!

From the moment you call to make your appointment, you are treated with the utmost respect. Teresa (receptionist) is a breath of fresh air. Cassandra (nurse) was very good at taking your input on your symptoms and she can actually stick you with a needle and you not feel it. My Physicians Assistant was pleasant and took the time to sit and chat with me regarding my systems and explained to me the various test that she wanted to run and WHY she wanted those test. As a new patient, I was quite happy with the entire staff and look forward to using them again and referring my friends to them. Thank you Dr. Pettaway and Staff.

no discharge instructions given . after waiting in the room for more than 45 min. the PA sees you as if she is seeing you for the first time ,then you sit outside and wait for 30 min. to be discharged . No discharge instruction given -card with next appointment left on the counter.

Dr Petteway is a very good doctor. She is always concerned about your health and she is always able to recommend alternatives or other means to care for your self. Sometimes the wait is a but longer but it's ok. She has a a large patient base so she is seeing about the people

The staff is absolutely horrible! Dr. Petteway never spends more than 15 minutes with you, you can tell she is in a hurry to move on to the next person. Appointments here are pointless you get to the office on time just to wait an hour before the nurse will see you. Then it's back to waiting another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in. Once Dr. Petteway is done, you go to check out and wait there for another 30 minutes just for them to tell you to come back in 2 weeks. I had 4 visits with Dr. Petteway before I switched to a better doctor. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Petteway to anyone!

Dr. Petteway and her staff are caring, informed, professionals. Dr. Petteway has been my doctor for the past five years. She has encouraged me to proactive in my health care. As a result I have quit smoking, changed my diet. I could not have done it without the support of Dr. Petteway and her staff.Thanks

You have to wait atleast two weeks in order to get a result on lab work, and this office doesn't give the results over the phone. Something could be wrong with you and you will never know. The waiting time is a mess, the average wait will be over an hour and most likely you will be seen by her physician assistant. If you have an emergency, your better off going to the emergency room. And if you need a referral, you have to come in to get one and your appointment will not be scheduled right away.
