After years of battling unbearable pain, horrible symptoms, and made to feel like a hypochondriac by my previous Doctor on my last visit to that office, I finally had enough, and called Dr. Patel's office from the parking lot of my old doctor. I explained to the office staff my situation, and they were wonderful. They got me in the very next day. I explained to Dr. Patel what had been going on, and actually advised her, at 29 years old with no children yet (who wanted kids more than anything) that I could not bear living like this any longer, and if nothing could truely be done, then I wanted to take out all female reproductive equipment. Dr. Patel listened to me intently, was very kind hearted and so soothing. She spent a great deal of time with me (which may make the waiting room slightly longer, but worth it to get your time in with her in the exam room, where it counts!) She immediately examined me, sent me into ultrasound moments later, and found a problem that required… surgery. Her ultrasound tech, Rhonda is maybe the most amazing person ever, and gave me such hope, knowing I was going into surgery 8 weeks before my Wedding... After my surgery, Dr. Patel was wonderful, seeing me immediately on a few occasions, when needed, in the following couple weeks. My situation couldn't have turned out any better, and because of this Doctor, I was actually able to keep all of my reproductive organs, a mere few weeks before my Wedding. The office staff is great, and considerate and really wishing the best for you and your family. I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone.

Initially appeared to be OK, but I left for another doctor after her office lost my test, and she never called me back. I believe that her staff was trying to hide a mistake, instead of simply apologizing to a patient.

Doctor Anjana Patel is one of the most kind, caring and considerate physicians I have ever dealt with in my life. She spends time with you, expresses genuine concern for her patient's, as well as listens to your issues. I have been seeing her for many years now and I would hesitate to even switch to another doctor.

Dr. Patel seemed OK, although the waiting time could be very long. Once I waited an hour, checking in at the desk every 15 minutes, but was told that the doctor had an emergency and it would be a while. When the nurse/medical assistant took my blood pressure and said it was a bit high, I told her that I would expect it to be after waiting so long. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told her I just waited an hour, peed in a cup, and it doesn't make sense to do this all over again for a 15 minute exam. When I was in the examining room, the doctor said she had been in the office all along. Huh?Another time, when I was told that I have what could be a serious condition, I was stunned. The doctor could give me no case studies that would fit my situation, and she said there was absolutely no way there could be a mistake in the diagnosis. She took a second PAP for confirmation. I waited a month, and no one called me back. When I called the office 3 times, I was told, "If… everything's OK, we don't call." I left a message with the nurse twice. The third time I explained that the doctor had told me to call. My call was shifted to at least four employees, until the last one said, "We've been trying to get ahold of the lab, but they won't call us back. THEY lost your test. But you can come back and we'll do it again. There won't be any charge." I told the individual that I wanted copies of my file sent to me so I could find another doctor. Again I was told that there would be no charge. The file did come in a few days - - along with file pages from TWO OTHER PATIENTS!Then, within the next few months I received an e-mail reminding me of my next appointment!I have since found another physician who knows how to treat patients and run an office.

My first appointment was for an intro in which I waited for an hour, to have a 20 minute appointment, and had to tell the supervisor in billing how to do her job and what my insurance was going to cover. Then my first appointment we waited 45 minutes this time and there was someone else's sonogram in my folder we found out I probably had an early miscarriage but wanted to check blood on Saturday to get results on Monday. Monday they called to confirm appt but no results and no one wants to help or look farther into anything. When you call to ask it is as if you are bothering them, and they are nasty or just plain don't call you back. Gwen the nurse practitioner is the only hope in that office, she is very sweet and kind and the best bed side manner. Doctor Patel whom I met for 5 minutes seems ok I guess. The office is a cluster f**k, they lost blood work, no notes in my file as to my status, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, and then they double billed me and wouldn't… help until I spoke with office manager....would never ever recommend to anyone even my worst enemy!!!

I have never in my life seen a more dysfunctional and rude office! When I was called back by the administrator, Veronica, about my complaint, she was very nasty to me and hung up on me when I asked who her boss. I would never recommend this office to anyone!!! They are unorganized and don't know how to communicate effectively with their patients!!

Dr Patel is great. She is very knowledgeable, caring and makes you feel comfortable. Will answer any questions you have and will spend as much time as needed with you. She delivered my little boy by emergency c-section and was absolutely wonderful. I have had 5 obgyns throughout my life and she, by far, is the best. The Countryside office definitely runs behind b/c it's so busy so I would recommend the westchase office. Not as busy and wait times not as long.

the customer service is the problem here!! i have had several problems with the staff being rude!!!! waiting times are too long. but the doctor is wonderful when you finally get in to see her!!!
