My parents have had excellent care from this wonderful physician . Do not believe the one negative review which is untrue. She is well respected at local hospitals and by her peers and her patients and staff love her.

I am very pleased with this practice. Dr. Ann Mecherikunnel has been my physician for over 10 years. She has been the epitome of a caring professional, has never missed a diagnosis, always selects the right treatment, and provides excellent follow-up. Her manner is what sets her truly apart. She genuine, attentive and considerate.

I really felt cared for as a person when I saw Dr. Ann Mecherikunnel, not just as a person. Her professional skills from diagnosis to treatment are excellent but what sets her apart is the ways she cares. I really felt like she understood my concerns and answered all my questions. She was reassuring. She followed up with me. I do not want another doctor ever!

She told my dad he had the flu when it was leukemia. She told him this for months and we had to go elsewhere to get a real diagnosis. She told my mom she had a cold and couldn't be expected to have much energy at her Advanced age. We had to bring her information on type 2 diabetes and force her to test my mother and she did in fact have diabetes. She is always late on her lab work and is too cheap to even higher clerical help so my parents were forced to go to the ER to get their treatments instead of in the doctor's office during the week. She has no admitting privileges to local hospitals which we only found out afterwards. Kudos to the local hospitals for knowing what a terrible doctor is. She has a horrible reputation at Loudoun and Reston Hospital. She has a great gig at a local retirement community overseeing all of the patients there. She rarely shows up to do her rounds. There are nurses there who have been there for years and never met her. My parents were not the type to Buck… the system when she was the facility's choice of doctor, much to their detriment. Do not let anyone you love be in her care or anywhere near her. I have a dozen more horror stories of her terrible doctoring. She is a disgrace to the profession.
