Dr. Ann Marie Wands, DO

Dr. Wands has been my primary care physician for several years. I was worried when she joined Buffalo Medical Group that the personal attention she has always provided would be lost in the crush of this medical conglomerate. Not so! I never feel that my visits are rushed or my questions and concerns ignored. Dr. Wands is courteous, patient and a conscientious diagnostician. Wait times are reasonable, everything is clearly explained, staff are helpful from check-in through check out. And I have to admit, the MyBMGchart portal makes keeping track of your health needs and communicating with the doctor even easier.

Not a good doctor , she is not dedicated to her patients . If you I have to go to ER , The doctors try to contact her in the middle of the night she does not answer her phone, she is very judgmentel, ,, please do yourself a favor and find a real doctor

Went in to see my primary, Dr. Wands, and was seen by the PA, told her my forehead felt like it was ready to blow off, so she gIves me a 10 day antibiotic instead of a 5 day z pack ???? The augmentin made me very sick all week. Called the office Fri at 8 am., a nurse called 1 hour later and said i would have to come back in to be seen because i did not see my primary originally ??? really?? Iasked her to just call my pharmicist and change the antibiotic, she said the Dr would have to do that. Nothing till 2 pm , after my wife called, because i couldnt even move or talk, then the nurse says the Dr didnt appreciate your wife calling.Very professional. So after i told them i was finding a new dr, Ann Wands decides to send me a letter that she doesnt want me as a patient anymore, dont flatter yourself sweetheart, i was already lookin.

I showed up for a 10:15 appointment at 10:10. I was told the doctor was running at least 45 minutes behind and I'd have to wait. I told them I couldn't wait an additional 45 minutes becuase I knew it would be longer than that. The receptionist got defensive and offered to reschedule me for a week later...for a sore throat. Every time I go to see this doctor I have to wait at least a week to get an appointment and then wait between 30-60 minutes to see her. She's very nice and attentive but I hate waiting so rediculously long.
