Dr. Jose is an excellent, knowledgeable physician that cares about her patients. She's not like other doctors that throw medication at the problem and instead actually takes the time to diagnose and assess you before giving you medication (if necessary) in the appropriate doses. I had been battling depression on and off, and she was caring in her approach and took the time to talk to me and understand me before discussing medication options. We need more doctors like her in the field of psychiatry!

Be careful when seeing this doctor because she plays the game oh I don't know if I accept your insurance. It happened to me ! I don't appreciate when doctors play dirty games just to benefit themselves. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Jose is really knowledgeable about what she does. Even though I waited for a small amount of time, it wasn't as long as I have waited with other doctors. When I got into her office she took the time to talk about medications with me and did not over-prescribe as most other psychiatrists might. Her diagnosis was accurate and the medication really helped me. She also explained everything to me so it was easier to understand, and I appreciated her follow-up later on to see how the medication was going. Overall, I would highly recommend.
