  • Psychiatry

A psychiatrist is a doctor with specific training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness.
He or she can not only provide the counseling necessary to both diagnose and treat a patient, but can also prescribe medication when needed. In some cases, a psychiatrist will only provide the medication and the counseling will be provided by another healthcare specialist, like a certified counselor or psychologist.

Dr.Fenton takes the time to get to know her patients. She has an honest, caring manner and understands true life experiences. She is non-judgmental and open minded, which makes it easy to talk to her about subjects which are normally too embarrassing to discuss, even with close friends and family members. She has a very broad general and medical knowledge base and shares her information on many related subjects, including holistic approaches. She is easy to understand and explains things very well. I trust her with my child's and my own mental and emotional health.
