Dr. Anne Greist, MD

Dr griest. Plays a good roll by going on vacations to different countrys all of the time . Shes almost never in the office and she will make you sign weird contracts with her lawyers if shes prescribing pain medication. If you refuse she will give you the medication ,schedule your next appointment and then. Send you a letter in the mail stating that your next appointment is cancelled. And to find another doctor i'm am now sick as i am having trouble finding another doctor. Do not visit her clinic unless you are ready for drama , stress, and not knowing if you will get your monthly/yearly scripts or not aftrr traveling at least an hour to see her. And if you get upset about any of this her and her colleges will have private meatings where they will conspire on how to sever the patient to clinic relationship.

I have been a patient of Dr. Greist for over 30 years. She treats my clotting disorder and has truly saved my life on more than one occasion. From threatening clots in my legs, twice treating pulmonary saddle clots and seeing me through open hear surgery, all of which are unique challenges for her and her teams. Reading some of the negative reviews I can only say these descriptions and complaints do not reflect the truly committed and caring doctor I have ever been around- I have seen many. These comments couldn't be further from the truth. Frankly, I am appalled, offended and really irritated that anyone would take the time to write something negative about Dr. Greist. The awards she has earned speak for her passion, perseverance and tireless work ethic. She consistently does everything in her power to provide the best treatment available. She has visited my hospital bed at 6 a.m. and then times the same day when she would return after 7 p.m. If there was a way to give… her 10 stars I wouldn't hesitate.

Dr Anne Griest is such a smart, caring Dr who has always taken her time with me. She is never rushed, & truly cares about her patients. She will answer all of your questions & never rushes in & out. You are not just another number , getting pushed through the medical arena. She is genuine! She has actually called me at home to speak to me about test results. She didn't have an office nurse or staff to call...she did! On more than one occasion! She has been my Dr since 2006 when I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis & was put on Prednisone which caused me to have 383 blood clots in my lungs. She saved my life! I would highly recommend her expertise to anyone, & her staff is also very friendly, outgoing & caring, from the nurses to the receptionists. The wait time has never been more than 15 min & the office is super clean & smells so good. Not like a hospital clean, just clean! The restrooms are immaculate! You will never feel like just a patient with her...it's more like a good friend!

Hard to get appt

Dr. Greist pays the most attention to a patient of any Doctor I have ever had. Her staff is just as customer service oriented.

I can not say enough out Dr. Greist and her staff. She honestly cares about her patients and is very sharp and caring. I found out 11 years ago I had a bleeding disorder, but what I had was not accurate. I had a Motorcycle accident and was Transfered from Terre Haute to Indy. Dr. Greist treated me and got me thru many surgeries. Then I followed up and got my bleeding disorder rechecked , I have been treated for the wrong form of my bleeding disorder for years, and Im lucky to be alive. Now I am informed and know what I need given when I need it. Her staff stayed in touch and was so helpful in every way. They honestly care . Its a 2 hour drive to see her but well worth the trip. I have recieved better care from her then I have ever in my life from any Doctor. Im so thankful she is my doctor. I trust her 100%.

Dr. Griest seemed aggravated by my being referred to her. Everything from rolling her eyes to heavy sighs. I'm a nurse and wI will not return to her for any services. I'd rather be in pain.

Dr. Greist allowed fully adequate time during our consultation and interacted with an outstanding demeanor; these are my two most critical measures of a doctor; I would not hesitate to consult with Dr. Greist again if needed.

Dr. Greist is a no nonsense professional, through, considerate. She is a person of kindness toward others, especially toward her patients who are in need of professional care.
