Dr. Annette K Lacey, PhD

Dr. Lacey is one of the most difficult psychologists to work with! She's very narcissistic, demands the sessions run her way, and really does not listen. During my sessions, she takes personal calls and she's always late. I have a chronic disability, Lupus and I wanted to talk with her about it. She said "I don't know anything about it so I can't help". I just wanted her to listen to me and help with grieving the disability. Please be very careful. She can do a lot of damage.

Dr. Lacey does more damage then good. During our sessions she was more focused on herself and her needs. For example, she though the smell of my perfume was overwheleming and asked me to not wear it. She is always very religious and kept trying to incorporate Christianity into our sessions.. I'm Muslim and she had no respect for my religion.

Dr. Lacey helped me where so many other therapists failed. She has a warm, empathetic yet totally professional approach. Unlike many other doctors of any type, she always remembers what I have said in previous visits which helps identify patterns of behavior without having to rehash the same things over and over.

Dry difficult to deal with. Often late for appointments and would cut my time short. Was more harmful than helpful.
