My experience,,, I arrived at hospital by helicopter with a heart attach. He was making rounds of his day off and heard about my arrival. He went to the helicopter pad with his nurses and immediate starting care giving. He comforted my family and asked them to pray. He then performed Angioplasty, a minimally invasive, endovascular procedure to widen narrowed or obstructed arteries or veins.This procedure and care saved my life. I am so grateful that he was there on his day off !

First time I saw Dr Christiano I felt comfortable but after three visits I still had no idea what my problem was/isI felt as if he did not think I should ask questions and I refused to take blood thinners because of past bleeding problems. I had concluded that, though I could also have a heart condition my major problem was a seizure disorder but he did not seem to consider that and just told me to do as I pleased and come back in six months. I had several more fainting issues and wound up back in the hospital twice more and I still don't know for sure what my problem is. I am now on seizure medication and have only had one episode where I was found unconscious and spent 7 days in hospital. My main problem with Dr C was that I felt he did not take me seriously. I expect he is a very good man's doctor, but judgemental toward women who have opinions which I definitely do.

I was very fortunate to have had Dr. Christiano on call when I had a major heart attack last Saturday night. He put me at ease during a most stressful situation. I never had a doubt about the ability of Dr. C and the supporting team at the Heart Institute. If it happens again, I hope I am lucky enough to have the same team, lead by Dr. C, to save my life.

This doctor seemed rushed and condescending. He did not answer my questions to my satisfaction. I came out of his office not knowing what the heck was my problem. There was no follow up.
