Dr. Anthony Consolazio, MD

I am a sick college student and the entire campus has the flu. We're told to go to the doctor and get a note, yet Dr Consolazio spent less than 3 minutes in the room with me and came to the conclusion I don't have the flu. He was condescending and when I asked for a flu test outright he said he disagreed. I felt belittled and left extremely upset. I went to Student Health Services the next day ... I have the flu.

I went in to the walk-in and as soon as this doctor came in he brushed me off completely. He answered my questions as if I were stupid. He was sarcastic, and did no tests and gave no suggestions except to "see my doctor". Horrible.

I went in with severe itching and rash. He did not look at the rash where it was worse even though he was told but just asked to see my arms. I told him that is not where the rash is. He prescribed 60 mg of prednisone daily for 5 days but I explained that I had been on a lot of Prednisone the year previous due to sciatica and could not tolerate more. He would not listen. I was examined by an allergist that same day who found it to be scabies and the following day it was verified by a dermatologist. Consolazio gave a wrong diagnosis which could have proven harmful to me. I would not trust his judgement again.
