Dr. Anthony George Farina, MD

Worst primary care place I’ve ever been to. Scheduled an appt upon arriving 30mins early to take a Covid test was then told they wouldn’t see me and sent me to urgent care, no explanation. On top of that they schedule follow-ups without speaking with me and then call a day before appointment to tell me. I would never refer anyone to this place. I then left a 1-star review on google and he claims I never had an appointment, well I call his office at 9am spoke with a receptionist who told me she made 2:15 appointment, I showed up 30mins early to get a covid test and at that point was told to go to urgent care. This Doctors response when his office makes a mistake is to call his clients liars. If you care about your well being don’t go to this guy, he should have his license revoked, just google him

Farina is, without a doubt, the worst medical professional I have ever encountered. And his staff? somehow even worse. They are extremely under-qualified and combative. I was told by one of the staff that Farina is EXTREMELY abusive to the staff and therefore, they cannot hire qualified ones. Don't go here.

1. Dr is always busy, you'll be seen by one of his associates. 2. The referrals are sent very late, sometimes after the accepted time and you end up not being accepted by the insurance. 3. They charge you even for getting the blood tests results. 4. The stuff is not very cooperative. 5. waiting time

I would highly suggest looking for another doctor

I have been a patient in this office for years and am especially happy with Dr. Guitierrez and with the care in which Dr. Farina handles his staff and his office. I am always given an appointment when I need it and my prescriptions are always phoned to my pharmacy .

keep me waiting in the waiting room over a hour my appt. is 10:00am keep me on the phone for over a hour never answer then phone hangs up very bad the worst

I’m am 35 years old and have been seeing Dr. Anthony Farina & his staff since I left a pediatrician. So well over 15 years. I started seeing him when his office was on Smith St. Office staff was very friendly, thorough and made you feel like an important patient at this practice. Dr. Farina, also very thorough, easy to talk to and good at his job. Let’s fast forward to when the practice moved to the current building on Mineral Spring Ave. The office staff went down hill very quickly. Revolving door for them. New tech’s having no clue what they’re doing, front office staff becoming more rude & PA’s not caring about patient care. Since I found Farina to be a good doctor I accepted how his staff was. Shame on me. Once a year I’d go for my physical and I would always see a different doctor when I specifically request to see my Md. (not a lot to ask for). Numerous times staff putting the wrong records in my charts and vice versa. Today was the nail in the coffin. Dr Farina called me for… a prescription refill and I informed him that I would be seeking a new primary and he had the audacity to say “I strongly recommend that, I don’t like the way you spoke in my office last time”. Then proceeded to hang up on me while I was still speaking to him. This is a man I trusted with my health care for the last 15 years and couldn’t have the decency to have a conversation with me (his patient) like a human being. Just goes to show you the level of professionalism on his part, or lack there of. Yes, my last visit I was very rude to his staff because they yet again stuck me with another PA for my physical & were VERY disorganized. So this was the straw that broke the camels back. How much can one person take with nonsense at each visit. Dr. Farina is you read this I hope you know how very disappointed I am in the way you treated me. For anyone thinking about going to this practice please don’t! I’m sure you will see hundreds and hundreds of bad reviews. Mine is just a small story of how bad he and his staff is.

THIS DR HAD ME GOING EVERY 4 WEEKS FOR NOTHING. AS FOR MY MEDS CVS PHARMACY HATE HIM. NEVER GOT MY MEDS ON TIME OR NEVER FILLED THEM. AS FOR HIS STAFF I COMMEND THEM FOR PUTTING UP WITH IS IGNORANT ATTITUDE TOWARD THEM. YOU GIRLS WERE ALWAYS SO GOOD TO ME. I FEEL BAD FOR YOU ALL. WALK OUT HE`LL BE LOST WITHOUT YOU .I`M BLESSED TO HAVE MET YOU ALL.CALLING THE DEPARMENT OF ELDERLY AFFAIRS ON HIM . PLEASE DON`T GO THERE.

This doctor holds you hostage for your medications by having you go in monthly, which is ridiculous. You never see the doctor, only PAs who come and go like through a revolving door. There is absolutely no continuity of care and on my last visit there, my file was missing so I never did get my test results. Farina had my 96 year old mother going in every 3 weeks as well for follow-up visits. On one visit, she twisted her foot attempting to get into the car and broke it. She ended up in a nursing home for months. This doctor is rude to the point of being a bully. His staff hates him and as soon as they find other jobs, they leave. In the past year, I have had 5 different PAs and they were all exhausted and stressed to the point of not being able to do a decent job. I am so sorry I lost my fabulous internist and ended up with this maniac. Take a look at the channel 10 video to get a good idea as to who you are dealing with. Awful experience. The absolute worst.
