I saw this doctor after experiencing a profound adverse reaction to a medication that left me with severe neurological symptoms. He expressed doubt that the medication could cause my symptoms and said he couldn’t help me. When I challenged him that he was incorrect that got very angry. In the weeks following my last appointment with him I saw another neurologist who ordered the proper tests and I was diagnosed with irreversible brain damage from the medications. Dr. Stephens needs to read the package insert warnings of medications and also take anger management classes.

Went to see Dr Stephens concerning a back issue. He didn't address this issue until I specifically asked him about it. Ordered an MRI which was unnecessary due to the fact that he does not treat back pain. Found out through an EMG that my neuropathy was worse and recommended IV therapy but failed to explain exactly what was involved. I found him to be a man of few words which is not a good trait for a doctor. In short I will need to see another Neurologist to get a second opinion.

Dr. Stephens didn’t even listen to me regarding my migraines. He actually misdiagnosed me..he just gave me multiple samples of pain medication and told me to take a few times a day. I told him I don’t need this everyday and he said most people don’t want the pain to come back. He told me that there is a surgery on your brain that takes 24 hours. When I asked him the name of the procedure he couldn’t remember and told me to google it. I knew then it was time for a second opinion, which I did get and thank God! Do not go to this doctor!!

Horrible at pain management, does not keep tabs at all or good records. I had to go COLD TURKEY off pain meds be a use I could not go to one of his other offices to g script. He is a bad listener, horrible doctor.
