Saw Dr. Marfeo for ~6 months. He's very focused on getting the money from the sessions without much substance. He would ask vague questions to which I would respond, he would then ask for more details, and so on. It seemed as though he wasn't paying attention to what I was saying, and was doing other work on his computer... He'd show up slightly late to our appointments, but then end at the original end time, which always bothered me.

I saw Dr. Marfeo for over a year and he always made me feel worse about myself. He always wanted to talk about my failures which is fine but he seemed almost happy when I would break down every session. He was very accusatory I agree with another review. I wasn’t looking for someone to hold my hand or coddle me but when you say you’re exhausted because you’re depressed you mean it. He used to try to find deeper meaning in everything and sometimes there just isn’t a deeper meaning.

I saw Dr. Marfeo on and off for over a year. In the end I refused to go back to him because he made very rude and inappropriate comments during my last few appointments. I left feeling worse instead of better. He does seem to really understand or empathize with depression.

I became more suicidal after I talk with him

He was thourough and warm. I felt like he took the time to understand my concerns.

Dr. Marfeo is a pill jockey, types constantly, asks a couple of questions, no real conversations, kinda accusatory. A little inflexible. But he's a safe bet.
