They were very helpful in calming my son down when it was time to draw his blood, it is a homely setting I love it there and the doc is very good with my kids no matter what the emergency is, he handles it thank you Dr Martell.

I am writing this because when my children saw Dr. Martell there was no such thing on the internet like a review. Dr. Martell took such excellent care of my three children. Now my children are having children and they want their children to see him. He has a compassion for both the kids and parents that is second to none. When my kids saw him he was fresh out of U of M. He was wonderful then and he is wonderful now.

He does not return phone calls. He suggests patients have life threatening procedures without seeing them when they are not even need. He is the worst doctor.

Dr. Martell is an excellent Dr. very caring, patient and kind. Relates well to my child and takes all the time that is needed. Couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Martell is a great physician he has a wonderful personality and is great with children. There is sometimes a bit of a wait to see him, but for the quality and professionalism you receive on your visit it is well worth the wait.

Dr. Martell is great with children, and even better with their parents. My daughter has been seeing him since she was 1 week old and diagnosed with a kidney condition. He spent time with me and my husband at the hospital to explain things when the specialist didn't. He even make extra rounds to check on us. He takes the time to listen to parents concerns and explain everything thoroughly in simple terms. I would highly recommend him to any parent.

My son Ja'von has seen Dr.Martel since birth . he his caring and always available should I need an appointment morning or evening. The staff is professional and very sensitive to the new mother stuff we all go through. I would advise any parents who work and need SAT/SUN appointments with a caring staff to check out Sawgrass Peds - they are the BEST !
