Dr. Terracina is an amazing human! He was so thorough in discussing my entire medical history / concerns and patiently listened and answered every question I posed. He showed me boundless empathy and kindness and eased my anxiety with his warm disposition.

Dr. Terracing did my Gastric bypass in 2003 and it ruined my life.

I would not give this hack any Stars. He has deals with insurance companies that keeps patients coming to him . He shouldn’t be in practice

The bariatric team at Duke said If I hadn’t presented to them when I did ,(4 years after bypass with terrasina ) I would have died. He lied on his op notes preventing anyone from discovering why I was so thin and malnourished . I was supposed to have had a typical bypass and what duke found was that dr terrasina had bypassed 300cm of my small Intestines and left me with a common channel of 70 cm. In laymen’s terms my body starved to death for four years until Duke went in and found what he did. Too late for lawsuit because it’s past the two year mark. I lost 4 years of my life to feeling sick ,living in the restroom with severe diarrhea and going to endless gastrointestinal doctors. I urge anyone that has these problems to seek help from a center of excellence . It wasn’t what I was eating, it wasn’t anything I did wrong . It was pure gross medical negligence

Dr Terracina preformed gastric bypass on me in 2003. I will say this man is amazing in what he does. I’ll never forget what he told me after the surgery..... He said I’ll get you through this surgery and make sure you taken care of while in the hospital,but when you leave,what you do and if you want to be successful depends on if you listen to everything I tell you. He also told me straight up what I put in my mouth while my stomach was healing could be a matter of life or death. Needless to say I listened to this amazing dr and was successful. I went from 340 to 160 He’ll never know what he means to me. He’ll always have a special place in my ??
