Wouldn't prescribe the medicine I needed

We had to wait 2 hours while he ate lunch while I waited in the examination room. I have a severe viral throat infection and tried everything over the counter and no cough medicine would work and no over the counter pain ibuprofen would help me sleep. He prescribed Loratadine (allergy medicine) after I told him I was already taking zyrtec and Benzonatate for my cough. He said to take Advil for the pain and that he doesn't prescribe narcotics even though two other doctors said I need Promethazine with codeine. Total waste of time dealing with this guy and now I need to go to another doctor to get the care I need.
