He is terrible! I would have given zero stars but I had to leave 1 in order to write the review. Doesn't listen, is arrogant, pompous, condescending, rude, no empathy and just wants to medicate his patients even against family requests not to because of known adverse reactions to the patient known and explained to him by family members! Run and request another psychiatrist if you encounter him!

This doctor has no regard for family wishes in consideration of loved ones with memory deficit and great vulnerability. He doubled a heavy med due to my aunt calling out for help to the bathroom. His decision is the ONLY ONE . . . no empathy for family members who see the patient as over-medicated. Double the dose when she needed assistance? to keep her quiet? NO. That's wrong! We are no longer a paternalistic consumer society, sir. Family input for brain damaged loved ones is vital when you only see someone for 15 minutes. Feel sorry for you. Time to retire. So grateful for this forum to vent poor experiences with healthcare providers. CH

Terrible, terrible and terrible experience. No points or stars could rate this person. Only negative ones. -10 or Zero stars. I've been dealing with serious depression for years, and after a 10 minutes meeting Dr DiLuigi recommended a medication called Lexapro, I disagreed. I need help, not this kind of Helpless.

I wished I had read this prior to allowing this man to see my minor daughter. After a few visits with him I realized I needed to find someone else. However it was not easy with my insurance. Upon this last visit this doctor had a mental breakdown in front of my daughter. He had her in tears because she was nit answering the questions the way he wanted her to. He did not have the skills needed to evaluate her appropriately. I tried to clarify something and he began yelling at me and spoke to my daughter as if I was not there. He refused to look at me almost as if I was dealing with a 12 year old child. This doctor has issues and is in serious need of a mental evaluation. He is unprofessional, immature, inappropriate and behaved as if he was mentally ill. He needs help. My daughter should of never witnesses this. He caused much more damage then good. Please please do not see him or let anyone you care about see this man. He should not have a license to practice. Stay away. If I could… give negative stars I would. Please just avoid at all cost.

my first visit this man did not listen to a word I said.he told me that I was well well overweight I am 6 foot 1 and 2 120 pounds and he saying that on my back injuries was your seriously and very expensive including fell back surgery 6 herniated disc um nerve damage car phone is this and this man proceeded to tell me that it is my weight that is causing on my pain. he's an gives me three milligrams of melatonin to go to sleep for extreme insomnia that I have not slept for an excessive three days. he wanted to double my celexa which I did not agree and told him that the side effects were to bad for me and that was on 20 milligrams so he proceeded to double that 240 milligrams and ignored what I said. you could tell he was not listening because he asked me the same questions 3 to 4 times. he was so rude that he told me most of his patients that walk in there with Kings walk in there because they are too fat and they cannot hold up their own weight. I think is very inappropriate to talk… about other patients like that without their knowledge.his office was very dirty and disgusting and smells even worse I don't know if it was him or if it was the building itself. also I had an appointment with a different doctor in the office and when I get there to my surprise I meet up with this guy that I specifically requested a female. I also suffer from two to three panic attacks today and he has eliminated my anxiety medication. I've been to many psychiatrists and never been treated like this before in my life please stay away from this guy he's horrible. it's time for him to take a shower and retire

Found him condescending, arrogant and opinionated. Didn't listen to what I was telling him.

We asked to speak to Dr. Di Luigi regarding my husband's medications and asked for his input and recommendations. Dr. Di Luigi sees patients at the rehabilitation center that is currently caring for my husband. After two brief hard-to-hear calls from him from the facility, I drove over to meet him. Dr. Di Luigi did not respond to my questions, and recommended yet another "drug" that I rejected. He told me he had 9 other patients to see and had spent 25 minutes with me (actually no more than 10 or 15 minutes). I suggested that every patient and family member deserved his attention, including me. I could not in good conscience recommend Dr. Di Luigi

Terrible doctor. He never listens, or takes out the time to understand what I am suffering. He fails to take seriously my condition, and how it affects my daily life. He is VERY arrogent, and can be argumentive if you do NOT agree with him. He just talks me through my 'paid minutes', and writes up the prescription which seems to be his final goal to get me heading for the door. A genuine sense of uncaring; unintrest and is his trademark. No sincerity, even if he tried. I've been trying to find another Dr. who I can afford, that will be interested in ME.

This man has an awful manner and is quite abrasive when voicing questions and concerns.
