I had to go to the ER and The Heart Hospital yesterday and it was probably the worst experience with a doctor I've ever had! She had documents from this same hospital showing that I had been diagnosed with pleurisy and pleural effusion from my last visit and medical records showing I had also been diagnosed with pericardial effusion and costochondritis and thyroiditis. I came in because I had a stabbing pain on the side of my ribcage that felt like it was puncturing my lung and I couldn't breath. She walks in the room and literally told me "you don't look like you're in pain." What kind of doctor says that?! I refused opioids when she tried to give them to me and didn't want a prescription of them (because I don't like them) so clearly I wasn't there to scam meds. Instead she diagnosed me with anxiety and sent me home with a condescending packet called "Understanding anxiety disorders"! What kind of anxiety manifests as feeling like the left side of your rib is broken and pushing on… your lung when you lift your arm up?! I have scans showing fluid around my lungs and heart and inflammation in cartilage of my chest and inflamed thyroid and yet she first told me I didn't look like I was in pain and then just ignored all those records and said it was anxiety. I will definitely not be returning to the heart hospital and I can't wait to get a bill from my insurance where this incompetent doctor diagnosed me with anxiety. What a joke.

Did not like her at all. Made me more nervous just before surgery.
